DutchGrasstrack
Harris was very disappointing. Engine failure during the practice. In his 4th ride he finally looked allright but in his other 4 heats he was not on the pace at all, probably had engine problems again. Bavarian
There was a Long-track speedway meeting in Sweden last week, at the Axevalla trotting track at Skara, with riders from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. This revival for motorcycle racing at this venue attracted nearly 3,000 spectators. The last time a long-track motorcycle race meeting was held at Skara was more than 30 years ago in the year 1983. Here is a short video to give an impression of the venue and the racing https://hallpressen-tv.solidtango.com/video/syntolkad-longtrack-speedway-pa-axevalla?html5=0
iris123
Typical of my experiences at Longtracks.Pretty strung out after a lap.But good to see some sort of revival in Sweden
DutchGrasstrack
The Swedes are doing awesome. I think it's pretty cool to have them involved, they will race at the WLT teams as well. @iris123 come to Eenrum for the GP
DutchGrasstrack
Trouble for Jannick de Jong as he tested positive in a dopingtest in Eenrum earlier this year. Been suspended as of now.

Very surprising! Peter Jansson can be named as the man behind swedish revival of longtrack. Been gathering momemtum now for maybe the third year... Anyway its fun with more Swedes riding longtrack meetings (and also grasstrack meetings). Örebro had about 500-700, cant remember exact. They had everything ready in good time and then about a month before the meeting itvwas announced that there would be a F1 on display nearby. Think it attracted about 5000. DutchGrasstrack
For what substance? Very surprising! Substance is not yet known. KNMV published a very little press release, but not giving any more info. Team de Jong was supposed to release a statement over the weekend, but nothing yet.
