Normski
Bandits will be hoping to continue their winning ways, against a very competitive looking Redcar side. With Garrity, Barker, & Andersen in their line-up should certainly be an entertaining meeting. Hopefully weather behaves itself and we witness some good racing. Can see this going to the wire Bandits to edge it 47-43.
Norfolk Bear
Should be close, hoping for at least 1 point
Bandits4eva
Big big test for Berwick this week. I'd like to think we could win by about 4-6 but got a bad feeling that Redcar are actually gonna take the points
jenga
red car to push the bend its all the way . bears are a good side this year . if i lived a bit closer , i would go to this one ...
crescent girl
Bandits took a solid point at Redcar this month, why shouldn't they take all three at home? Â Changes afoot, however -- Dany Gapp moves into team (at #2) and Jye will be at reserve when fit. Â Kevin Doolan will be #5 this week. Â However, last week's tangle in Heat 8 has sidelined Jye with a shoulder injury and Jack Parkinson-Blackburn will be at #6. Â In NJL mini-match, Border Raiders will be: 1 Kevin Whelan 2 Mark McIlkenny 3 Luke Harrison 4 Sam McGurk
havenagotahope
Think this should be an edge of the seat match but would love to see it click for Lewis Bridger this week I'm sure it's nearly there and he could be the difference between the two teams this week. crescent girl
Lewis is racing for Somerset at Swindon on Monday, too. I agree he is due a really big one, and Saturday might just be the night! Â He's at #4 for this one, partnering David Howe.

With Berwick losing the extra rides for Gappmaier then Bridger will need to show the kind of form many of us believe he is capable of. Must admit its a struggle to split these two for this Saturdays meeting.
allthegearbutnaeidea
Would we not of been better giving Liam a go at 6 on Saturday instead of JPB, no fuel money, asset and local 'hero' give him some extra rides and if he does well enough could get himself a team place in the championship. allthegearbutnaeidea
Sorry but do you have alzheimers? What? What's the point in bringing in JPB if we could just use Liam who the club is meant to be helping. What better way to do so than to give him a guest booking at reserve instead of using his team mate at Birmingham who we would need to pay fuel for. Things didn't work out for Liam in the main body of the team this year but he's a better rider around Shielfield park than anyone available to guest imo, I would of said Richard Hall might beat him but he doesn't have a team place so is ineligble.

Did there not used to be a rule that if you dropped a rider you couldn't sign him again in the same season.Suppose it might be different as a guest though
Fromafar
If a fully fit Bears team turn up think we could have a match on our hands.

screm
Barker not racing for Redcar tonight in their home meeting with Scunthorpe, should he not make Berwick this Saturday that could swing things for the home team.
topsoil
This has all the makings of a classic, with both teams packed full of racers. If they get the track preparation right, which I appreciate will not be easy given the heat at the moment, both teams have the kind of riders who will make for great racing. Garrity, Barker (if fit), Charles Wright all in good form, Jonas B Andersen scored 12 in the cup match last year and Coty coming back. Plus Redcar have I think the best reserve pairing in the league with Ayres and Perks. Very difficult match for Berwick, but hopefully we can build on last week. Really looking forward to this one, hopefully the win last week and the good weather will bring a few more out.

northyorksbear
If Barker is a s bad as we were told last night then you realistically can't see him being fit for Saturday, next Thursday may be possible
