Wolves V Poole 29/5/17 6 Pm

Recommended Posts

This is going to be very close, no Freddie is a big blow for Wolves and Poole have a habit of digging in deep when they need to. Klindt should get a hatful at reserve and no KK helps Poole although I'm sure they'd rather have Holder than R/R.

46-44.

Looks ok at the moment but showers could develope and cause issues. I suppose the meeting could be put back a couple of hours if that's the case and cancel the second half.

Leaving at 2pm. Hope the traffic isn't too bad.

Wasn't asking you. Enquiring from people in Wolverhampton. ;)

News from the track rather than your i-phone. :D

Hope to see you later.

Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message which includes your mobile number.

Thanks

Modern technology means we can see what the weather is doing anywhere in the world in the matter of a couple of seconds.

See you later Baz.

Heavens forfend that the mere hint of a suggestion of arrogance should appear in your post, but "the second half" you have just dismissed in such cavalier terms is actually a league match and for those of a green, red and white persuasion is presumably the main business of the evening.

Don't Wolves ride Mondays and the lodgers ride at other times?

Next Monday sees Pooles first meeting in nearly a month as Pirates head to Monmore for what could be a very entertaining fixture. Start time of 6 pm so guessing the Wolves management are hoping for a lot of kids to attend before school next day.

Kids off school Steve, it's because it's a double header with the Heathens meeting following.

Posts 1 and 2!

Today's modern technology has given three different forecasts on three different websites.

Prefer to hear from the man standing under the rain than the computer telling me it's a lovely day. :t:

he possibly won't need to get double figures. My point is Pooles 1 and 2 from last time (KK and Holder) got 9 between them. In my view Zengota and r/r will get more than 9. Lindgren got paid 13 and I wouldn't expect Scott to get that. Poole lost by 10 and the fact is Poole are stronger this time and Wolves are not that's simple facts. Will be disappointing for Poole if they don't get something as they go to Wolves at the right time and will never have a better chance

Poole are stronger this time but Wolves are not?

Riss in for Clegg

Schlein in for Skornicki

Where did you get that from?

Its Gavan logic. To the rest of us its clear Wolves are stronger tonight than the A fixture, and that's without Lindgren. Anyone with an ounce of speedway knowledge would know that.

Yes I agree. We could be even stronger without Freddie though as I'd have liked us to have booked Kim Nilsson as Guest but hopefully Nicholls should be able to score 8-9.

Will be interesting to see how Zengota does for you if I can make it tonight, he hasn't had that many meetings this season by the sounds of it and only scored 4 in Poland yesterday.

Lindgren, r/r for Skornicki and Clegg were paid for 22 points last time. Let's see if Nicholls, Schlein and Riss score more. Also KK and Holder were paid for 10. Let's see how those changes pan out
