Steve Shovlar
Next Monday sees Pooles first meeting in nearly a month as Pirates head to Monmore for what could be a very entertaining fixture. Start time of 6 pm so guessing the Wolves management are hoping for a lot of kids to attend before school next day. Andersen, Kurtz, Klindt and Newman all go OK around here and the guest at number one could also help keep it reasonable close. Someone like Harris perhaps? Poole rarely come away with anything at Monmore so if we can keep it to within 8 it will show promise. Wolves are certainly the team to beat and title favourites this year so a close score will show Poole are not out of the running just yet. Should be a cracker. Thoughts? bruno
Kids off school Steve, it's because it's a double header with the Heathens meeting following. I'm on the IOW so will miss it but hopefully tick off another track on the island
Bagpuss
Comfortable home win.
Gavan
Poole strengthened considerably by having a guest for KK and Newman back but r/r for Newman got 8 last time so I think Kyle will get similar or less though that should be balanced out by KK getting 5, I would expect more from his replacement this time. Wolves look so strong r/r for Skornicki got 3 last time and I would expect Schlein to get 9 at least. Poole reserves scored 19-6 against Wolves reserves but with Riss in for Clegg I would expect that gap to close. Wolves by 10-15 against one of the most average looking Poole sides in the last 10 years
Sidney the robin
A pretty easy home win for me, this Poole side is one of the weakest sides they have had in the Ford regime. Also now riders are not freely available for Ford to pluck out of a hat ie) both Pawlicki bros, Drabik,Lindback, Dudek, etc).Wolves look very strong and with there home advantage they always can at the minimum build strong home teams they are the team to beat this year. stevebrum
Going to be missing this one. Any guest for KK is a strengthener. 48-

Certainly possible for Harris to get to Monmore on time but not ideal from a Poole point of view. Otherwise Belle Vue and King's Lynn only teams not in action. My pennyworth would be a phone call to Kenneth Bjerre.
foreverblue
Going to be missing this one. Any guest for KK is a strengthener. 48-42 Unfortunately I can't make either as we are away which is a shame as it is one of my favourite away tracks. LisaColette
Other fans saying this is the worst Poole time in last 10 years and under Ford's promotion. Seriously?? Ummm 2009 anyone? Not as bad as that, yet!
hagonshocker
Don't get why so many don't rate this Poole side? I think it will improve as the season wears on whether that be with a rejuvenated KK or a replacement? Brady and Holder will keep improving Hans will remain solid as will Klindt and just a injury free run is all Newman needs , still a side to be feared people
Dickie Head
Hoping to do Birmingham at 3 pm and then whip over to Monmore for the double header. Looks like a straight forward Wolves win to me with nowt for the Pirates.
hagonshocker
Btw really cannot see consider Harris as a guest way too risky , 4 hours between start times and including travelling that's a no no

Are any of Bjerre, Lambert or C.Holder riding in Poland or elsewhere on Sunday though ?

Not as bad as that, yet! Hard to disagree with that. That was probably one of the worst Poole teams that I have seen. 16 riders rode for you that season. Steve Shovlar
Dont mind being classed as underdogs with no chance. Because KK has started poorly people are not rating us and expecting us to be also rans this season. But we are a far better team than these people think. We will be challenging at the playoff end of the season.
