Somerset V Rye House- Rye House V Somerset 19th/20th May

Recommended Posts

Somerset:

Jake Allen, Josh Grajczonek, Cameron Heeps, Patrick Hougaard, Lewis Kerr, Richard Lawson, Charles Wright

BMR Rockets:

Rob Branford, Chris Harris, Edward Kennett, Scott Nicholls, Ellis Perks or guest, Stuart Robson, Rory Schlein (guest)/Ricky Wells

I fear for the Rockets home and away here with Somerset's Reserves pairing. Hopefully I'm wrong and our 1-5 can get us out of trouble...

It's a shame again there is no Ricky Wells, but this is the sort of match we wanted to see by going up a league. The big names of Chris Harris, Scott Nicholls, Rory Schlein and Eddie Kennett. Hopefully there are quite a few Rockets fans in attendance, as this should be a close one.

Is this match going ahead given the battering of rain in the last few days ?

Was thinking of travelling down from the Midlands to catch this one

From the forecasts I've seen, there is no rain scheduled tomorrow. With the heavy watering we've had over the last couple of days I expect the track will be in tip top condition!

Lots of question marks in this fixture.

Somerset riding order not announced, guest for Perks not confirmed either.

Will be an OTA specialist I expect of some sort.

No wrighty for the Rebs either r/r for him. Baseby for Ellis Perks.

Lawson, Kerr and the 2 reserves can take the RR Rides for Wright.

Our replacement for Perks wont score a point.

Mixed with our poor away form could mean a long night for the Rockets...

Ha ha I see it the other way. Josh and Jake need to be on it tonight with three debutants .I think the vast experience of Ryes top order could be crucial. Would have been more confident with Wrighty. Edited by Cliffeboy

I agree...I have a feeling The Rockets could win this one. Hope not...but like you I can see Ryes top order making a big difference. Looking forward to some close racing.

I think you're right, this has the makings of a classic. Score line should be tight and could go either way. With the heavy rain this week should make the track in excellent condition. Harris, Nicholls and Kenneth should all score well tonight aswell.

Jesus Christ, after all these years are you still stalking him? :o

I'd hardly call it stalking he's asking a question.. Shouldn't you be at the track digging out the rubbers... :t:

Great debut for Richard Lawson, carrying on his good form to the premiership

It was always a travesty that good British riders like Richard & Richie didn't have a top tier club.

Richard showing what he has been doing for us all season and apparently he is a gating tart according to some.

Well done Rich fantastic debut for the Rebs.
