Belle Vue V Swindon Friday 19th May

Recommended Posts

Could be a close match, I'm going for a narrow Home win, Doyle will be up there in the big points for Swindon,

All lot depends on if Max Fricke is riding, due in Terenzano for the Under 21's the following day, also Adam Ellis could be missing for Swindon, with the same reason.

Will see how we go on thurs and find out which riders we will have on friday as Berwick and Lakeside are riding. I would think our new reserve Dany will be at Berwick but not sure who Zach will be riding for.

I could be wrong here but technically Stevie Worrall is an asset of George Carswell and George has no input now at Belle Vue.

You are wrong.

Clubs hold riders' registrations not individuals. (Individuals haven't been able to hold riders' registrations since the late 70s/ early 80s when it was rumoured that John Davis was an asset of John Davis).

Steve Worrall is registered on the Belle Vue retained list, so should ride for Belle Vue (But don't underestimate the power of the BSPA to get their own rules wrong and insist he rides for Newcastle instead)

TBH with little or no home track advantage any team can fancy their chances at the NSS if they go for it.

Should be another cracker. Any Swindon fans still undecided about supporting their team don't make the same mistake as the rebels fans and get up here.

Interestingly the ReadyPower owner "owned" the Peterborough assets when he teamed up with Poole!

He'll be on Belle Vue's retained list unless he's been sold.....so should be riding for Belle Vue

He was a Belle Vue asset last season but when last year's promotion had their license annulled then ALL Belle Vue rider Assets transfer to the BSPA according to the regulations. Therefore when he signed for Newcastle he was a BSPA asset, NOT a Belle Vue asset. I don't know whether your current promotion have aquired the Belle Vue assets back or not, but even if they have the regulations state subsequent transfers within the current season period have no bearing on priority. The criteria for priority states that owning promotion come 1st (in this case BSPA) so that doesn't count, Last year's team/ promotion 2nd. He rode for Newcastle last year, and, yes while he did ride for Belle Vue, it was not with the current promotion company. Therefore Newcastle get priority this season.

Rider assets are owned by "promoting company's". A few year's ago the Sheffield promotion bought a whole load of rider assets from the BSPA following the folding of a club ( I can't for the life of me remember who it was), but they consequently had a huge asset base as a result. Most of them have probably retired now tho.
