Recommended Posts

First meeting at The Abbey for over a month, The Turbo Trio face Holder Batch and Lambert on Thursday. The Gap makes his debut. Hope weather will be ok...Will go 52-40 to the Rampant Robins, on good run 5 matches without defeat.

Followed by tough trips to Manchester and Wolverhampton.

The Robins home form not convincing so far, were getting hammered by Belle Vue with 3 heats to go then lost by 2, about level with Rye House then won it in last 3 heats, down against Poole with 3 to go but fought back to level 45 each.

You know with Doyley, Morra, and Bellego in last 3 they are very strong.

Looking for the other 4 to whack in some decent scores. Need a strong reserve.

Let's hope we actually now have a reserve who can win Heat 2 as Emil wasn't the answer.

Without a strong reserve you will struggle to make the play offs let alone win it.

Well today we did not get the deluge of rain that was forecast, just steady light rain all day, so with no more rain due overnight or tomorrow and the sunny intervals forecast for thurs we should get some speedway.

I'd kinda disagree we have had a hell of a lot of rain today some of it quite heavy at times with lots of surface water and some mighty puddles..rain started to ease early evening and no more rain now until at least Friday so should be ok, track would had been left slick so the water should run off easy enough

We did not seem to get heavy rain in South Swindon, anyway lets hope that the sunny spells and wind tomorrow makes the track raceable.

After having 2 meeting in 4 days, its now over a month since Swindon's last home match. This crazy planning schedule might be to the Stars advantage in that the Robins riders have forgotten where the track is :t::t:

Prediction: Stars to lose 48 - 42 ( HL=30pts; SS=8; RR= 4). ....... To get a point here tonight would be a massive plus....

A really nice morning here, hopefully the weather will hold up we had alot of rain yesterday where i am about 3 miles from the track.Kings Lynn could be very dangerous tonight, Huckenbeck for me is the key along with the talented Lambert.Lambert has not always gone great at the Abbey so he needs to be on it and Batchelor who knows what version turns up tonight i think a Budgies win by about 8.

A lot of rain around, just driven from Heathrow to Blunsdon, riders and fans were driving in, don't think I will chance it...5.30.

Hope there aren't many that have driven from Narfok.

After sunshine earlier, it is now raining in Reading, what's the situation at Blunsdon weather wise?

Heavier showers at Reading but it might be moving west oss
