Starboy118
You can't compeare Football with Speedway Football has a large squad of players most of them content to sit on the bench and getting their large cheques every week..You can't have riders sitting around waiting for a injury or whatever every week But that's exactly what contributors to this thread have been doing and that's why I made the point! g13webb
For the life of me, I don't understand the logic, behind the idea to wait until the day before the meeting, to post comments and thought for the coming match. With so much Social Media at ones finger-tips, surely it wouldn't be too hard to post these comments at the weekend prior to the event. Although Wednesday is suppose to be our race days, they are not programmed in regularly. sometimes we have a 2 week break, sometimes 3 wks, sometimes they come every week. The point being most punters want to plan their week in advance, not wait until Tuesday before hey are advised of a meeting.... With the opportunity a Website gives, there should be no excuse for promotors to behave as ours do. They could change, up-dates, include comments from riders and fans, even giving a rundown of the forth coming events. All it needs is a decent PR man, and the world is their oyster..... If this practise were to bring an extra 5 fans through the gate each week, imagine the receipts come the end of the year......
westhamboy66
Cant imagine Rye getting any more than 35 here unfortunately... Who knows what team will turn up. Kennett 5 points would be about right for his away form, Harris anywhere from 5 to 12 depending on how he gates. 8 from Nicholls 5 or 6 each from Robbo and Wells. 6 from the reserves.Your probably right maybe up to 38 if a decent tactical ride was taken. But can the likes of Holder be as bad again as he was around Rye. Anything more would be a massive surprise but I fear the worst and look to our visit to Leicester for our first real go at an away point. Can anyone tell me what we do with the rain off tickets? Queue again or go straight to the turnstyles?
g13webb
Can anyone tell me what we do with the rain off tickets? Queue again or go straight to the turnstyles? Queue up at the ticket office, where they will replace it with a current one. Hope you enjoy your visit. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised as Rye House will battle well. Kennet does go well here as does Scotty and Bomber..... Obviously hope you don't win, but want to see a decent match.....
Rickyb
You have to go to the box office for a new ticket
stevehone
think some are doing Kennett a bit of an injustice, he's definitely improved on the bigger tracks and I think it's his grasstrack/longtrack that's helped.
Ben91
He's averaging under four away from home this season though.

Shadders
Ed is always poor away usually. One track pony. Always, or usually? Can't be both. In 2016: 8 from 4 at Berwick 13 from 5 at Edinburgh 10+2 from 5 at Redcar 11 from 4 at Somerset Hmmmm... Some would say you're ignorant, but I'll be kind and say misinformed Edited May 24, 2017 by Shads
mrss
Kennet is usually poor at Kings Lynn. Can't see him scoring more than 6 tonight. Should be an easy home win.
Bagpuss
They had 3.31 to play with at the start of the season. Shame the bar wasn't showing the football tonight I could have a great night watching the speedway and football with a few 🍺 The only one under that figure who would have been a better bet is Matt Williamson, and I assume as a Belle Vue asset he would have been ringfenced anyway. Looking at his Worky scores so far he may have been a decent shout at number seven.

hackneyrocket
Eddie won't be number one for much longer, it's not much good being hard to beat at home if your crap away.
waytogo28
Not very convincing from the Stars, considering that Kennet was so poor. Great to see that Chris Harris its till a great speedway racer. Work to do Stars.
Ben91
Ed is always poor away usually. One track pony. Not a one track pony but generally goes better on the smaller circuits. Can't remember him being quite as bad away from home as he has been this season in the top flight though. Cost an away point by two heatleaders not weighing in again it could be argued. foreverblue
To be fair i thought Kennett was getting better at bigger tracks but this Rye House team is always going to struggle away from home.
