There's also Nick Morris, who was refused entry into a competition that would have made him a GB rider. As a result he ended up riding as an Aussie.

Can you explain how Tai qualifies to ride for Australia?

I'm sure he could have been Aussie if he'd have so wanted...he'd been there since he was about 2 !..although I'm not sure Rob was legally there for the first few years !!.....he's only the same as Andrew Symonds and others in cricket..Symonds was born here to British parents and moved to Australia as a kid...and he's the most Aussie bloke you'll ever meet ...

World Champion once (in the old one night format). How does that compare with a 2 times world champion in the SGP era?

You can't, totally different formats. Mark Loram won the SGP world title without winning a GP. You could only qualify for the old style World title without winning a round, the final itself had to be won.

Is PC better than TW, no idea and once more we will never know, as for opinions they count for nowt.

BSPA hold out an olive branch asking if he'd be available ......

Tai says yes then starts making demands ......

BSPA shakes head and wonders why it bothered.

Tai goes public ( or gets his "media handler" to do it, he doesn't bother with that kind of thing himself) to get his side in first.

He's a bit of a drama Llama isn't he ?

If only Woffinden had ridden for Australia. Years of bickering on the forum could have been avoided, and people would've just expected all the arrogance and big-headedness!

And moaned why he didn't chose to ride for GB....

I wouldn't have moaned he should have been true to his heart and rode for Australia- for me GB doesn't have a rider in the GP series and at least Tai has dropped Team GB and that's given a true Brit a opportunity which can only be good .

Not many moaned about crump not riding for team gb

oh your priceless!

Jason Crump was born to an Australian who lived in the UK at the time, meaning he was born in the UK.

Jason Crumps family are Australian, he is a full Aussie and represented that country.

Tai Woffinden was born in the UK to British parents.,....................Please tell me why he is Australian????

ha ha have a little check on your knowledge!

2013 Woffinden 117, Emil 114 when he got injured. How can you know who would have won that title............or are you forgetting Tai breaking his collarbone at Cardiff?????

2015 Woffinden by a mile , or you suggesting that Hampel who was 10 behind could have posed a threat when he got injured after round 3??

You make yourself look foolish at the best of times but you have outdone yourself here

Sticking to facts.

Tai is British.

He tweeted he rides for GB in the GPs (according to others has no choice)

Tai refused to ride for Team GB

Tai refused to ride for his national title.

Tai now wants to ride for Britain in a two bit competition that happens to be on his home Polish track.

Seems to me he is British when it suits him. Thats his choice but don't expect me to believe he is patriotic.

So Scott Nicholls and Lee Richardson weren't patriotic either then.

Tai was asked if he was available for the meeting, he replied that he was and could even help get some practice set up for it so they could take it SERIOUSLY. Which is what we wants Team GB to do for the World Cup but doesn't believe they do so. Quite rightly he will sit out until they do take it seriously.

Just because others are happy with an amateur approach, he isn't. That's why he is a 2 time World Champion.
