dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Danyon confirmed last night to some of the massif that it's more grippy this season. And you can see by the colour of it that it has a higher clay content than last year. The trackmam is the best person to answer about itIMO its an excellent surface - smooth but grippy. Any riders that attacks it will do well. Far better than the bone dry slick dust bowls that seem to be common place now.
89buttons
Then why stop the race at all? Lewis Kerr was last. The ref completely killed the race as a spectacle. All the best Rob Was stood on the exit of second bend so it all happened right in front of us, agree no reason to stop it as Lewis regained control and was subsequently at the back despite having impeded Danny, Lewis did look certain to be going in the fence, and as a result the red lights seemed to be put even before he'd regained control so as much as anything needs to be a little less hasty! It was indeed shaping up to be a good race! Ref had obviously got bored of the restarts by heat 15 and felt bad for excluding Lewis in the aforementioned heat so allowed him a blatant jump at the tapes to balance tho 😝 Edited May 12, 2017 by 89buttons

Tracks like sheffield would love that surface Edited May 12, 2017 by baldyman
2ndbendbeerhut
Watching the Witches ride it... and there seems to be different ways into the bends. King full gas and goes for it.. Schlein rolls off throttle gets into corners then blasts out. Heeps goes a lot deeper before turning and then leans bike over and doesn't turn much Sedgeman similar to Schlein but stays more on inside going into bends Newman does a bit of everything depending on who's in front! Greaves seemes to have it weighed up. Stay on inside and let dirt pull you off the corners. The grip om the outside certainly made him stay on last night. Mountain is struggling with it and possibly needs to attack it more.

IronScorpion
(Danny) had nowhere to go and although he tried to avoid gave him a bit of a knock, but clearly it was Kerr's fault entirely and the rider behind had to shut off and was impeded, kind of unfair riding I guess to be judged What about the incidents that we see on tv in the GP's(the Pedersen move), old EL where riders are going round the bends & the rider infront goes to the fence to block/impede his run causing him to shut off, momentarily, to avoid an accident. This incident has been talked about many times before as well as riders pulling lockers for similar reasons.

TheSpecialOne
No surprises last night. The result wasn't decided at the Douglas fall and subsequent withdrawal but more at the point that the relegation favourites Scorpiins team was declared prior to the season. The only real surprise on the evening was that their management didn't stage an on track sit in protest after one of their numerous falls and exclusions.
