waco
Ultra weak sides like Kings Lynn do nothing to bring the fans through the gates....
uk_martin
With Birmingham carrying two passengers, having a "senior" rider in his first meeting, and having other riders prone to falling off when least wanted, I think that claims about Kings Lynn's demise into obscurity may be greatly exagerated. mrss
Kings Lynn demise is not exaggerated . They are rubbish.
Guest GiveusaB
Good fixture for Liam Carr to find his feet and likewise for Kyle Roberts and Bickley. Other than that, there's not much else to say!

I agree with roberts and leek likely to take 4 rides each kings lynn will be scoring 30+

BICKLEY??? I missed that. Who's he riding for? That could change the complexion of the meeting.
Ommer Mon
At least KL have had some practice on the track already but I still fear it will be a cricket score. Campos was the best rider against Cradley and it looks like he's missing judging by the line ups in the first post.

ProudtobeaBrummie
well 56-34 not the greatest meeting ever.. the best battles were for 3rd and 4th spot Bacon 3/5 nightmare start then just done whats expected from no1 Roberts 3/5 battled really hard will certainly improve only scored 2 but was competitive later on.. Richings 3/5 solid from the skipper scored as expected really .. JPB 3.0/5 Standard quality display although slight note hes times weren't that quick Carr 4.0/5 MOTM awesome debut getting full max won each race by a big distance different class on the night Leek 1.5/5 Looked well off the pace until a decent last race cuppitt 3.0/5 great again were gonna miss him when he goes into the main body. Widman had the best meeting ive seen him have down PB locke looks the best of the 3 pointers although scores may not show that . Well done the fans also for showing Roberts and leek there appreciation for battling performancing Edited May 10, 2017 by redandyellow

ProudtobeaBrummie
Well done to Liam keep it up Rode like he had a point to prove that is by far the most impressive display i have seen from him... Previously either when guesting for us or riding against us he never scored big points so hopefully he carries on.
brianbuck
As good a debut performance as I have seen anywhere. Seemed to thoroughly enjoy himself and clearly developed a great rapport with both the crowd and with the rest of the team. This meeting was never going to be a classic and it wasn't. I agree with R+Y that Roberts and Leek both worked hard for little reward and that their efforts were appreciated by the crowd. By the way, Tom Bacon still swears that he saw a red light as he was coming away from the tapes in heat one and believed that the race had been stopped - which was why he shut off.

uk_martin
I have just read that on hes facebook and im positive that the tapes pulled the peak of his helmet although i may be wrong on that one . Looked like it to me too. Wouldn't that have resulted in him being excluded for "tape touching"? In the end, he got caught out for rolling at the start, and got nothing for it. As it should be. We'd have moaned as hell had an opponent done that to us and gotten away with it.
