CB252
As good as Lambert was tonight, I actually thought Worrall was the star of the show. He was tremendous from the back. Thought he was going from 4th to 1st on the last lap of heat 15! He's made such progress the last 4 years.

PE7Panther
Just goes to show what happens with a high scoring reserve. Thanks James. erm... BW-D outscored Shanes 9-8. And Bacon v Coles was 2-0. So Panthers' reserves out-scored Newcastle's reserves 11-8. That wasn't "what happened" in terms of how the meeting panned out. That wasn't "what happened" in terms of how the meeting panned out. He's meaning in terms of the Newcastle team in general as Phillips and Coles have struggled to get 3/4 between them away from home. Shanes scored some points from reserve and they win.

Baldyman
The racing obviously isn't enough for some though
hans fan
The racing obviously isn't enough for some though nothing wrong with the crowds at panthers (at the minute ) mind you a few home losses then it will soon change
Flappy
Realistically can anyone really see this panthers side beating any of Sheffield, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle or Ipswich over 2 legs? We in my opinion are in the second tier of teams in this league this year. As for the racing, yes it's always decent at the showground.but where's the home track advantage gone? Teams used to hate coming to Peterborough to face a team full of showground specialists on a deep and grippy track, now they love it. (Ive never disputed the general quality of racing at the showground btw - it has to have something going for it to balance up the rest)😛
Baldyman
Exactly. You can have good racing which you do but lose or slightly less good racing and win. Most would pick the second option I would think And as a witches fan we get used to not so great racing. And still haven't won anything for years🤔 Edited May 13, 2017 by baldyman

Panther1997
Best racing Ive seen at the showground! Unfortunately we were beaten by the better team! Bacon actually won a heat think every was shocked! Rider of the night for me was Stevie Worrall! Top class performance by an ever improving rider! bigcatdiary
Newcastle were the better team tonight, R Lambert and Worrall were both outstanding and the Panthers top end apart from Starke couldn't live with them. The track wasn't great and was certainly slicker than usual but being honest it produced some fantastic racing and this was one of the best meetings so far this year. Another great crowd as well.
LagutaRacingFan
A disappointing result however, a great crowd who got value for money. They will be back next time. I spoke to a Newcastle fan on the way out and he said that he may start supporting the Panthers. Falcon Hammer
Racing was out of this world tonight, especially the last 4 heats, unbelievable overtaking lap after lap. If I had my way, I would award the Panthers 3pts for providing such great entertainment
