The thing is with the state of The Lothian Arena The Scotwaste Arena The Boarder Roofing Bowl you could drop a bomb on it and it would be an improvement

with money you can turn a "state" into something good eh :)

Anyway , who's joining me on the 3rd bend tomorrow night ? Yes Armadale's track isn't my cup of tea , but it's still speedway and my team is there .

Weatherwoman said there was to be a change to the recent good spell of weather , so hope any rain stays well away from the 'dale tomorrow .

And I see it's Speedway Star's match of the week , maybe because they don't seem to do much racing in the top flight . Teams having 3 and 4 weeks between home meetings .

That's more relevant when its a straight league and no play offs to decide the title and away wins are independent matches and any away points not dependent upon the aggregate of home/away as it is in a cup comp, but I was referring to the end of season cup competition that the "league" title is reduced to when its a play-offs system whereby there are no 'away' points as such and winning is dependent upon the overall aggregate thus making home advantage key, as I said.... "gives them a skewed advantage in the home//away return leg playoffs" the relevant word being "home".

Well that fairly shut mr blooby up, no answer, you know its a fair point and i'm right ;)

Dear justqueer, pity you had not examined the Monarchs away results in the aggregate competitions that they won in 2014/ 2015.

To remind you, here they are, plus the home results in the PL Finals:-

19-06-14 Sheffield v Edinburgh LC SF 40-50

20-09-14 Berwick v Edinburgh PL PO 45-48

27-09-14 Workington v Edinburgh PL PO 40-50

05-10-14 Peterborough v Edinburgh LC F 44-46

12-10-14 Newcastle v Edinburgh PL KOC SF 44-46

16-10-14 Ipswich v Edinburgh PL KO F 37-53

24-10-14 Somerset v Edinburgh PL Final 54-42

25-10-14 Edinburgh v Somerset PL Final 54-41

27-09-15 Glasgow v Edinburgh LC F 45-45

04-10-15 Peterborough v Edinburgh PLPOSF 46-44

16-10-15 Glasgow v Edinburgh PLPOF 48-41

17-10-15 Edinburgh v Glasgow PLPOF 58-32

That's six away wins, 1 away draw, and 2pt, 7pt, & 12pt away defeats.

So if you think the home scores gave a skewed advantage in the aggregate results, you certainly have a "queer" interpretation of the facts :P

My favourite was the Newcastle koc match. The diamonds won by a point at armadale on the Friday, everyone thought they had in the bag but 2 days later monarchs won by 2 at brought park. It also should be said that Edinburgh topped the table comfortably both years as well as winning the play offs. Kind of blows that theory out the water.

Dear psycho,

You obviously haven't a clue, nowt to do with away its the home trick track with a thousand percent home advantage and bends where at the apex riders often almost come to a virtual standstill that's the issue, nowt to do with away at all, already spelt that out but you obviously don't listen.

Dodgy trick track that's the issue and specialist set up cos its such a dodgy trick track, that does (fact) give you an unfair advantage and probably very different on a fair track over a two legged cup comp that the "league" title has been reduced to in recent seasons, saw the above match and capable visiting riders couldn't do anything on that trick track it was a sham, a Mickey Mouse trick track in a Mickey Mouse stadium.

Not at all just have no interest in debating with yourself.

Well that's a bonus, but what a cop out, you obviously know I have a point and I'm right ;)

How can we forget when we and everyone else keep getting it rammed down there throat.

Oh my the banter is fairly flowing in here.

Going for an Edin win but by no more than 10.

Should be a good evening for it looks to be a pleasant day. Just hope the locals don't see it as a 'taps aff' day.

Hoping to take a point from this but depends how Dan goes on his return to the Dale.

Every home track has it's advantages for the home boys plus set ups so what's your point.

Anyway onto the actual meeting. With us not performing at our best at the moment can see Glasgow getting a point. All depends what summers and bewley turns up for the tigers. That will decide how many league points they leave the dale with.
