Baldyman
Sure is. It drags on a bit longer than the title
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
I recon the panthers are serious contenders for the tittle. It all seems to be going their wayagree - they are the breast team by far 😆

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
52-40 win, Masters & Wells to go unbeatenthat score and scenario would mean neither of them take the tactical ride.Very specific prediction 👍

arnieg
Or Masters/Wells get 6 pointer and there is a 3-2 heat result at some point

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Can only hope for the sake of those that attend that the meeting is at least half as interesting as some of the predictions 😊
Gazc
If they are as bad as last Saturday this could get messy with the exception of one rider they were truly shocking. This rider will not be there tomorrow so an easy win for the Panthers with agent Ayres to score 3 points.
cityrebel
7pm on a Sunday night seems a strange start time, with school the following morning for families with kids attending.
STEPHEN 333
Big Truck-fest exhibition on at the arena over the weekend, gives them plenty of time to get the track ready.
maneacat
7pm on a Sunday night seems a strange start time, with school the following morning for families with kids attending. Don't see how it's any different from those clubs who race Monday through to Thursday evenings inclusive or In Newcastle area as they regularly race Sunday evenings. cityrebel
Maybe it's just me. I don't like Sunday night meetings with a 4.30am alarm call waiting for me on Monday mornings!
Crump99
Maybe it's just me. I don't like Sunday night meetings with a 4.30am alarm call waiting for me on Monday mornings! Whereas many don't like Sunday speedway, especially if it's around 4.30pm start. I'm sure 7pm isn't by choice. There is a 10-4 event at the EoES which says "Set within the spacious Peterborough Arena, spend a leisurely Sunday browsing" - that's not going to be so leisurely with 500cc bikes roaring in the background. Will be a good opportunity to hone our efficency and get the main meeting (no idea if there's anything after) done in 2 hours, ie. by 9pm Edited May 7, 2017 by Crump99

Crump99
MDL 6 heat match afterwards between Peterborough & Milton Keynes but I still think it's likely to be all done by 9.30pm I remember this though for the U21s: Excellent meeting with a lot of excellent racing, 1 hour 50 minutes for 20 heats. Referee kept it moving despite some falls and riders were a credit to all with both the racing and commitment. So that's 40 extra minutes for one extra heat and a bit more messing about given the nature of the respective events. I'd say that 9 - 9.15 latest should be the objective. Oh, and that's not a dig at you Dick. Speedway generally and Peterbough far too often, takes too long to run meetings when you break it down to the nuts and bolts of a minute a race. Gemini
7pm on a Sunday night seems a strange start time, with school the following morning for families with kids attending. Hopefully this is just a one off for Sunday matches? I know there are other fans who think differently but personally having a pretty horrible journey over from Leicester, and driving at the moment being rather uncomfortable anyway, I much prefer a 5pm start time so I'm not driving back in the dark. I think late afternoon rather than evening meetings also encourage casual fans (like me) to attend.

Management and most supporters prefer 5.00pm, unfortunately other events at the Showground on match days dictate a later start.

Mr Blobby
Just our luck the German meeting the Riss brothers were supposed to be riding in has been rained off. Fantastic
