SCB
... a Championship team from signing 7 riders from Premiership teams once they get new averages? They'll have lower averages relatively speaking because of the harder league but it seems there is no conversion between the leagues. Seems like madness to me. You can't have more than two from the same side and I doubt there are more than a handful available, plus of course they like fat brown envelopes. I agree it's got its hurdles but sign two of Harris, Kennett and Nicholls plus Gomolski, Allen, Porsing and Tungate. All on low average that would only go one way. Basically sign up the low average.... The name of the rider fitting that average will be irrelevant as all won't be available for every meeting.. Let them all ride once then use a choice of good guests for every 'double up/down' fixture clash (and there will be loads).. Surely that won't be allowed to happen though, I am sure those in charge will have another fool proof system devised to ensure the sport doesn't look ridiculous... Just like they always do.. (Bless them)😁 Got to have planned in a conversion rate surely? Wasn't it x1.4 in the past..? Edited May 4, 2017 by mikebv

To be fair I have now heard they will have a 1.4 conversion applied for riders going from Premiership to Championship
jenga
why have a 1.4 conversion at all , when its all the same riders in the prem and championship .?
allthegearbutnaeidea
why have a 1.4 conversion at all , when its all the same riders in the prem and championship .?because tungate could sign for a championship team on a 4...
Paddy The Rebel
What a farse this is becoming why didn't they state this at the start of the year or why not just hav a 42.00 limit in the Premiership to start off with and apply 1.4 if u wanna move down,so much 4 trying to get the relegation and promotion to work hahaha !! What is to stop a Premiership team signing Championship riders on lower averages then? As 1.4 is wrong. It shouldBe 1.25. They've just moved the issue from the Championship to the Premiership. Lewis Bridger on 4.7?! Hahaha why have a 1.4 conversion at all , when its all the same riders in the prem and championship .?Because one league has a 40 point limit and the other 50. The conversion rate should be 50/40 or 1.25 Edited May 5, 2017 by SCB

Or to sign 7 riders not currently riding in el/Pl with El averages from prior years, now it seems there will be no multiplier applied? Likes of zagar, AJ, lindback, Tai now on bargain averages. Or actually any top flight rider from Poland could presumably now come in on a 7.
