Kings Lynn V Eastbourne May 3rd

Recommended Posts

How can he treat the public like this and get away with it.

How could anyone get away with it ?

So, what will happen ? Will anyone from Eastbourne protest ? Will the 'authorities' require an explanation, with evidence, of why the meeting was called off ?

Or will it just be swept under the carpet, 'one of those things' ?

Just another episode in speedways decline - no one really cares do they ?

Not everyone has pulled a stunt like this and got away scot free. Belle Vue & Glasgow didn't.

I doubt if anything will be done here, though, citing the weather is usually enough.

I care - and so do many others. Whether the King's Lynn promotion does is very much another matter.

PS Its still dry. Not a drop of rain since 4pm, precisely as predicted by every weather forecaster I checked.

I can back that up HT, still waiting for the high winds to appear as well.

There is no way Lynn can be defended over this, nor should they be.

I hope you have found something to interest you during your unexpected free time in Lynn HT even if it's only a very chilly walk round the old historic part of the town.

The worrying thing is, buster is the flag bearer for british speedway at the moment. How can he treat the public like this and get away with it.

Yes, and this is the most worrying thing about this whole episode, Im rapidly coming to the conclusion most so called promoters treat supporters like a bit of dirt on their shoes. Its long since past the time where another breakaway league was formed Ohhhhh for another Mike Parker is their one out there to save Speedway while there is still something left to save ?.

Its taking them for granted GP. Then they have the gall to complain about falling gates.

Tomorrow I'll be going to one that can show quite a few how it should be done - Isle of Wight.

If I am very lucky, I might even see some speedway !!

You could have come round here for tea Chris :D

Will be interesting to see how this plays out and what Eastbourne have to say.

I don't Eastbourne can say very much as with the Kent episode last season when we were trying to sign Ellis.
