TheScotsman
Jeez factor 50 weather. Struggling to reach double figures here. Even Armadiddle is getting better weather.
MD
Would have definitely taken a point before the meeting. Seems a decent result especially as we needed a 5-1 in ht15.

Gazc
Happy with the point at what was always going to be a very tough fixture.
JamesB
It was good to watch a more competitive meeting. James Shanes - what a performance. Let's hope he is up for coming in to replace Danyon.
2ndbendbeerhut
Even though we won.... feels like a loss!. Why was King in gate 2... and then went straight for outside anyways. If he would have stayed around the kerb he would have kept 2nd.. James Shanes what a performance. Match winning! Whatever needs to be done to sign him.... do it! Pob
Chris Louis sign Shanes now. You want silverware there is the piece to replace the injured Danyon.
Gazc
Thought Shanes had too much on with his grasstracking can understand why you want to sign him but if he has too much on what can you do.
Baldyman
Pay him more than he gets from his grasstrack
Arch Stanton
Shanes made all the difference. Without his hugely impressive contribution that's a home loss. Replacing Hume is a major headache for the promotion as Mountain has been struggling in all honesty. The Glasgow heatleaders were better than ours. King is struggling at the moment too for some reason. Every faith he'll get it right again he's too good not too and Newman and Sedgman will only get better with more meetings. Pay him more than he gets from his grasstrackWas thinking the same, money talks. Maybe ask the sponsors to contribute a little bit more to help secure him and make an offer he can't refuse.. I know Guy Nicholls was very influential in helping the club make changes last year at a significant cost. He wants to see success at the club so maybe could help again in that department. Can't hurt to ask. Edited May 4, 2017 by Arch Stanton
poolebolton
Please Sign Shanes. You will help Poole. Also helps that Kyle and Him live beside each other and are good mates. If you sign Shanes you should walk the league. I agree just pay him more than grasstrack.
Pob
Kevin Long has said as it stands he would miss 10+ meetings with his other commitments.

Baldyman
Conner seams to very very wary at home, is it cos how grippy the track is set up. Shanes was absolutely awsome. Any other 2 pointer tonight and we would have lost. I was told Danny burnt a clutch out and had a partially seized engine tonight, so that's never going to help his cause. I would have had newman at 2 tonight as well, would that have helped with a few extra points? We will never know. Nielsen could have a field day against next week's reserves unless we can use Shanes again Always nice to have a drink with Paulco and willy in the bar after. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Says a lot when you are disappointed not to have stopped Glasgow getting point. Danny is very unlikely to score that low again at home all year. Lots of issues for him tonight. Kyle and Justin will both take a couple of meetings to settle. Cam excellent again. Rory solid again.Connor looks tenatative but will improve. James Shanes was superb. If there is any way to sign him it has to be done. So with all that going on to still win and in all honesty with relative comfort bodes well. Glasgow after all are a very good side and wont be too far away from the mix when the prizes are handed out. Great to meet up with Paulco and Willy again - apologies to the bar staff waiting to lock up 😆

SharpenRake
Well done lads, good to get a point. Just a pity no home meeting this week to keep momentum going. Also we have a good weather forecast 😞

Cerro
Would've taken a point before the meeting, so to get one after needing a 5-1 in ht15 was great. Our top 3 are a match for any home or away.. How does Smith compare to the other newbie 2pointers that have started the league this year, there's no expectation from him but it's apparent he's out of his depth, boys confidence can't be great at the moment.
