LisaColette
It's not hard to see why some folk make it and others don't. Imagine someone starting out and having this kind of attitude behind them.. they'd be doomed to failure. Oh wait... Anyhow.. you stick to taking 'no way' and bitching and moaning on a speedway forum. Woffinden will take his way, be a two time World Champion, earning lots of money doing something he loves and leading a dream lifestyle. If any rider is leading a dream lifestyle, it is Nicki P not Tai. North of England hardly compares to Monaco does it??!

Tai is living in a dream , In his dream he knows better than everybody else , and that he will succeed where many others, far better men than he will ever be (Gundersen ,Pedersen ,Tatum , Mauger , Briggs to name just a few ) have failed ,

foamfence
So the 'massive project' seems to be the impending arrival of a new sprog! Well congratulations on that.
tyler42
Just read the synopsis by John Black " With a vast array of titles to his name, including youngest ever World Champion, achieved at the age of twenty-three," Maybe I'm wrong, but did Michael Lee not win it at the age of 21 and Peter Collins at 22? Or does he mean under the Grand Prix format. Still not correct though is it, unless speedway is called something different theses days. Hodgy
It's not hard to see why some folk make it and others don't. Agree. Focus, dedication and hard work will support ambition. However, the engine tuner will be the major contribution to folk making it, or not.

orion
Or perhaps he genuinely believes that he can help British Riders. I certainly believe he can. Typical of Great Britain this - we moan like hell about not having any decent British Riders. We get one and he is treated like a pariah. Honestly - it beggars belief. ?? And how has he treated British speedway ? after he used it to get want he wants he treats it like a dog turd on the bottom of his shoe ....do really think people and going to take kindly to his actions ? your view beggars belief ... the bottom line is Tai wants it all his own way and the moment that does happens the toys come out the pram and takes his ball home ..Tai is great rider but for some reason it makes him thinks he can the run the sport and everyone should do as says . The White Knight
?? A great rider but needs to stick to that rather that trying to take over the sport . Have you ever considered orion - that Tai could indeed do a better job than some of those running the show at the moment. Please note - I said some - not all. Personally - I think that there is a fair chance that he could. I did like Peter Craven TWK! I don't know why Phillipsr has edited the quote to make it appear to the contrary? Think you've hit the nail on the head their Onion. British Speedway won't do what he wants, so he turns his back on them. Smack of a spoilt brat really. He's a good rider, but how much of it is down to his super fast engines? I wouldn't class him as one of the best ever, be interesting to see how he'd fare ona GTR engine. Oh - as for others stating how Darcy Ward never turned his back on British Speedway - remember he needed the Visa sponsored by Poole/Swindon to enable him to make his bucks in Poland. If Woffinden had taken Aussie citizenship, he'd still riding here too.

orion
Could he do a good job at running the sport ..the easy answer is no because the moment things don't go his way out come the dummies and he never plays anymore ..on what we seen he would fall out with everyone and quit in a few weeks ..when he starts to act like a adult them maybe then people might listen to him but intill he learns that he's not going to get his own way all the time quite rightly hes not going to get the time of day .
