robert72
I couldn't be bothered reading this thread after this post, the 3rd post, as it was a criticism. Why do we continually get on the back of Woffy ? Pathetic. Just remind me again what Wolfy does for British fans or British speedway ? robert72
Were you at Belle Vue for the World Cup or any of the playoff meetings last year? Oh yes He ran out of meetings abroad and he came crawling back to British speedway for the play offs and was happy to earn extra money on tracks he previously said were very poor and in a league he turned his back on but thank you for reminding me oh yes he had a good meeting in the World Cup then quit his country and I like many others thought good riddance. What happened to his training schools for the British kids ? The guy is full of crap but I am sure there will be some happy clappers at Cardiff but many will be turning there back on him this year as he has to British speedway.

I'm sure every team in BL would have wanted him. The fella rode in Britain from 06 to 14, won multiple British titles, top scored for us in every world cup for 8 years on the spin. won 2 world titles, did pretty much every media obligation that was thrown at him, raised over 200k for charity and yet he's in the wrong because he wants to ride in Poland and Sweden rather than our Micky Mouse league. The "He started off in UK so should always ride here" argument doesn't wash anymore I'm afraid. For Tai or any other rider. The BSPA use English and Foreign riders as much as the riders use British Speedway. Can get angry about it all you want but it's a fact. Oops and I thought this was a thread about British Speedway and what tai does for British speedway ? So how much would he have made without the British fans digging deep ? The fans he no longer wants to entertain in his and their country because he feels he is too good for here unless it's on his terms. its Not all about who collects the money it's about those who give to charity.

The BSPA use English and Foreign riders as much as the riders use British Speedway. Can get angry about it all you want but it's a fact. To be honest I don't blame him for not racing in the British League (ah, those were the days), it's more the fact that he feels he's too good to bother with the British Final. People were making excuses for him last year saying it was the clash of dates that stopped him from riding in the semi-final, but I said at the time that was just an excuse and he never intended competing, as has been proved this year. I was cheering as loudly as anyone for him in 2013 in the gp's, but with each passing year he seems to alienate more and more British fans. I'd love to cheer the only Brit in the world championship, but I can't bring myself to..I know that Chris Harris isn't up to gp standard anymore, but I still wish he was in it.. just so I could cheer on a Brit!
Bagpuss
Spot on with your first bit. Only three of the fifteen regular GP riders (plus a load of other top class riders) don't ride in our league and that speaks volumes. If he thinks he is better off overall not riding over here then that's fair enough, but not riding in the British Championships or for Team GB is pretty poor and invites criticism.

Gavan
Gotta laugh at the Tai haters on here so so clueless and using the way the guy looks to run him down. Ignore Robert72 as he is full of crap as he reckons he once rode himself lol. The reasons Tai didn't ride in the British Final was obvious yet some fools still believe he just 'pulled out'. And why on earth would he ride here????
speedibee
It's a thread about Tai's wife expecting their first child/Tai's autobiography you plonker Is it ? well I'll read no more then , if i had known that this thread cloaked in a title alluding to a massive speedway project ,was about Tai's kid ,I wouldn't have read it in the first place . I seriously thought it was about another load of Woffindens empty promises to be the tail that wagged the British speedway dog , I feel abused having been duped , maybe the O.P could change the title to something more suitable like, Woffindens girlfriend is having a kid ,why would anybody give a Shyt ? Gotta laugh at the Tai haters on here so so clueless and using the way the guy looks to run him down. Ignore Robert72 as he is full of crap as he reckons he once rode himself lol. The reasons Tai didn't ride in the British Final was obvious yet some fools still believe he just 'pulled out'. And why on earth would he ride here???? Perhaps you could ask him why ,he rode here in September and October after the money dried up in Poland and Sweden ,
Gavan
So does he want to teach the youngsters? To get themselves plastered in tatooes? To use expletives when speaking live on TV? To show how to treat British Speedway league by thumbing his nose at it? To show contempt for British speedway fans by refusing to ride in the British Championships? To show further contempt by refusing to ride for TeamGB in the SWC? The guy hasn't got anything to offer British youngsters other than how not to do it. Sure hes a great rider on a bike but it ends right there. Neil Vatcher is doing a great job, young lads are progressing and We are starting to see young talent come through. No need whatsoever for Woffinden to be involved in anything to do with the sport in this country. The guy's made himself a pariah so why on earth would British speedway bother to do anything in return? Its a real shame that a British world champion has snubbed his nose at Great Britain. But you reap what you sew. what a very sad and bitter post!! Let's be fair Poole had a rider in their team who was an amazing talent. Who did drugs, ran away fromCops, got involved in fights, another unproved allegation, and basically was the worst role model for anyone watching speedway oh and he swore all the time to. But hey he rode for Poole so that's all ok!! Tai would give loads back to British speedway but isn't exactly helped. But you know what the guy has tattoos so we better slag him off!
BWitcher
Perhaps you could ask him why ,he rode here in September and October after the money dried up in Poland and Sweden , Because he is sensible and is making something of his career, not sat bitching and whining and blaming everyone under the sun for their failures.
