Poole V Swindon Ela 1/5/17 6pm

Recommended Posts

Just seen a video of race from last night at Poole, I hope they put some shale on it before monday.

The Swindon riders are practicing on the concrete Swindon Stadium car park.

They'l need the practice... Dogs all weekend so nothing will happen. Need to put it on next Tuesday so it has a week to bed in. It will make no difference if its put on over the weekend, unless we get a ton of rain which nothing is forcast. ;)

So the track will be like the M3.

Just to confirm despite what it states in the Speedway Star, this meeting DOES commence at 6pm!!

There are 2 references in the Star - one says 7.30pm and the other 5pm???!!

It also said 5pm on the Poole website last week or the week before. It's where I got it from!

Too much shale for the Darcy meeting (just ask Doyley)!! Not enough since. Can't win really, although most of the Poole boys and several away riders seem to adjust their set-ups to do ok.

Morris had his best ever score at WR on Good Friday's daytime meeting when guesting despite blowing his engine(s).

Monday is predicted as OK now. It's Sunday that will be the dodgy day in Poole.
