Davey Watt Retires

Recommended Posts

All very confusing- this is a translation of a sportowefakty article, published after the announcement.

" The supporters of Steel Rzeszów do not have to worry about the end of Davey Watt's career. The 39-year-old declared that if needed, the cranes would be able to count on him, but only in emergency. Right now, Chris Harris, Nicklas Porsing and Josh Grajczonek are in the squad, but Watt will be at the disposal of Janusz Stachyra in the event of a collision or injury "

Announced via twitter.

And Facebook. Good decision to get out while he's still in one piece and I wish him all the best for whatever his plans are for the future.

Good luck to Davey it has been a very good career but he obviously feels the time is right now, a very loyal and dependable rider but above all a really decent fellow who was always good with supporters and conducted himself superbly in front of the cameras , I reckon he'd be an asset for BT or someone with the expanding coverage

Agreed, or in management...?

Always seemed to put the team performance high on his list of priorities as a Captain....

Sorry to see him go but all good things come to an end. I loved having him at Lakeside both as a guest and as the three years he a team member. At his best, a great stylist and formidable second heatleader. Best wishes for the future Davey, wishing you success in whatever you do.
