T.N.T.
I am of the same thoughts as you. It ok to assemble new kids on the block into a team and TELL them what is expected of them, But to Manage season professionals is a different ball game.. How do you instruct, Motivate, or install confidence when you have never been there yourself..... Manager/ Motivators such as Middleditch, Lemon, Rossiter, Louis, and Tatum have immense experience from their riding days and demand respect, We need to appoint somebody similar, An exrider would to be an obvious answer......... Anything would be better than we have at present....... The most successful person in that position has never ridden a speedway bike and so far has won 9 league titles and looked after at least four World Champions. The big problem was British Speedway not just using the Premier League averages but then allowing Holder and Doyle to stay here on stupid averages when they are mainly here just so they can get a Visa to ride elsewhere. Yes two riders like Worrall and Palm Toft would be better for them but we now have the opportunity for Holder to be available later in the year at a ridiculous six point average and back on the south coast.
