KINGS LYNN ROCKED BY NEWS

Kings Lynn travel to Monmore Green on Bank Holiday Monday and were looking at this fixture as a possible victory against the defending champions who look strong on their home circuit, especially since they have added Schlein and Riss.

However the Stars management were rocked by the news coming in from Poland where 2012 World Champion was booked to appear for his usual Torun team against Wroclaw. Sadly for the Anglian outfit, Chris Holder has not caught a cold or damaged a finger nail and unfortunately for them he WILL be in the starting line up at his favourite track.

I'm sure all Wolves fans will be glad to see him there on Monday where he has been very fast in previous visits, mainly out of the car park and heading for home.

:t: so much truth is said in jest

I'm hoping for a rain off, my car has just become fooked.

Harsh. Plenty of riders have tracks where they can't reproduce their normal form and, yes, Holder's is probably Monmore. But he does have the occasional good performance; had a net 11 from five (stripping out a TR double-point win) as recently as 2015 when, curiously, riding at No.2.

Looking forward to watching a premier meeting followed by a nl meeting. I don't do biased so if the premier meeting is better il gladly admit it. Going on my bike because I reckon the parking should be interesting with two lots of fans

Wolves to win 50-40

I don't expect us to get that many. Holder, Lambert Batch- 28/30 tops; , Porsing Rose probably 8/10; Reserves 2/3. So even in the absolute best scenario we won't score enough to bother the Wolves.... Unfortunately....

The projected Wolves scores , Freddie, Masters (Thorsell/ Guest) 36/38; Howarth and Rory 14/16; Reserves 10/12 , Makes me think this will be one sided affair...

Jacob Thorsell rides tonight , no need for a guest

Bank Holiday action and a nice 6pm start should make this a good meeting and a number of Belle Vue and Somerset fans also making the trip after their mid day meeting in Manchester.

Holder and Batchelor have had good and bad meetings here so unsure which one will show up here but Holder has been struggling in Poland for Torun scoring just 9 in two meetings and at the GP he wasn't troubling the big guns.

Lambert is good to see and if all three go well they could push Wolves but I can only see a comfortable home win with Lindgren Howarth and Thorssell all going well and Schlein in top form lately so they should hit 50 quite easily.

With Lindgren, Greaves and Porsing all on Gerhard engines it will be good to see how these performing and reliable and how many will be on them next season.

53-39 at a guess then may watch a few Cradley heats or get back for the snooker final.

Realistically be pleased if we get more than 35.

After their changes they look stronger throughout the 1-7

i agree 35 would be a good score when we have very weak 6/7 tonight . Guess one good thing about it if Sky still had the tv contract this could have been a tv meeting least it's not on tv .

Think a major kick up the backside is needed by the KL team manager I'm sure he's the man to do it - what a poor poor show from the team that was thought to challenge for the title .
