Redcar Vs Ipswich 20/04/2017

Recommended Posts

Panthers won there though, so we don't want them to keep getting more points ahead of us. Its been a good track to us over the years, let's hope it's good to us again. It really is another track we could win at if all riders contribute to the team score. I'm gonna go for a 2 point win for us

The Bears have a good racing team this year which will entertain or upset a lot of teams and some supporters, however we have lost some strength at number 2 with the injury to Toby, and I don't think GARCIA is an able replacement, I hope I am wrong but he has scored only 1 point in his two meetings which is on par with Joni Keskenen!. It will be a good meeting on Thursday with a Bears win by 8 points.(Forever the optimist)

They won there in the cup though so no bearing on points which i am sure will cheer you up.

Don't get too worried, Panthers was a cup match so they didn't get any points!

This 28 day period is the ideal time to race against Bears as effectively we have been a 6 man team, unless Garcia shows vast improvement he will extend his finishing last sequence at MPA beyond the current 10 races with ease! If Bears/Panthers had been at full strength for the whole tie Bears would have progressed to the next round,

Having said that I also think Ippo are considerably weaker with Newman out, but at least in Sarjeant you have a possibility of some points return!

Could be close, hoping for a good Bears win, but may be down to Hume & Mountain!

Would expect it to be another close one, and Garrity and Barker will not have their own way this week I would suggest. Already looking forward to heats 13 and 15 with King and Schlein.

Much will depend on the reserves - would fancy Hall and Perks to outscore the ippo pair but could be close!

Redcar are the leagues dark horses for me but could blow hot and cold I think.

Enjoyed my visit there to see the Witches win a couple of years ago.

Should be a great meetings with some top/tough battles.

A narrow win either way on the cards - hard to call which way though.

I honestly believe that with the original 1- 7 that the Bears had lined up (Busch at 2) the Bears would have been very , very difficult to beat at home this season.

With Garcia at 2 we are much more vulnerable as he is , currently, a long way off the pace.

Bears will need the other 6 riders to be on the top of their game to win this one against an excellent looking Witches lineup.

I think on Mondays showing at Peterborough we should be confident of going anywhere with a win in mind and a point a minimum, especially once Mr Newman is fit and raring to go!

Having said that Redcar look an ominous outfit with all of their top 4 capable of beating anyone in the league so an away point/win is no gimme for the witches!!

Garcia is a huge problem - for me I don't understand why we didnt give Bukhave the place - unless something is stopping him - Garcia is so far off the pace, he doesnt even look reserve standard.

I would give him this week and then get shot, we would have been better off with rider-replacement, especially if Perks was riding - him, Anderson and Hall would out-score Garcia by a huge amount.

For close meetings like this, Garcia will make the difference...but fingers crossed our big three or on it, and that could set-up a win. Any sort of win would be good here.

I bet this Garcia chap has the meeting of his life on Thursday..just like holders display against us Monday

OK - pick any Ippo rider who is in the team on Thursday you like and I'll bet Garcia doesn't outscore them on the night, in fact you can name two Ippo riders :o

If he puts in a performance like Holder on Monday then Ipswich are in for a hell of a thrashing :t:

Coming up for this fixture.

Garcia got 9 pd 10 from reserve at Redcar last year at reserve.. but poor once in the team.

So he can ride the track... give him a chance Redcar.

He has also had lots of meetings where he has struggled here since then - he's run last in his last 9/10 rides here and hasn't even looked like a decent reserve.

I'd be quite happy to be proved wrong but so far he is way off the pace and we are considerably weaker than we could be.

Pretty sure Coty will improve now he has his own engines back he had sent them both back to ash-tech in Poland the day before he got the team spot and there had been a slight delay in getting them back and has been using his third engine so hopefully he will score some points tomorrow night

I hope so , at Scunthorpe he was so far behind I thought he was in the next Heat !!

Should be a great match , we need our reserves and JBA performing....

Really looking forward to this - hoping for an excellent meeting. Ipswich look very strong so should give us a good idea of where we are at.

JBA could be key - has started meetings off quite slowly this year before finishing them off strongly, could do with a quick start tonight! Fingers crossed if it was just machine grumbles for Coty he has those sorted now as he could be vital tonight alongside the reserves.

This should be a cracker of a meeting. Ipswich have a strong top end with King and Shlein. Heats 13 and 15 should be heart in your mouth stuff. Reserves could play a vital role tonight and Im backing Perks and Hall to shade that battle.

Stay behind afterwards if you can and support the Cubs versus Camarthen in a NJL challenge match before next weeks league action get underway.
