BobC
Have to say, Rye is one of Kyles least favourite tracks. Never really gets going there. Not sure about Kerr, so have to be happy with BWD's points. Â Not too worried about KK atm. After all, starting averages were huge. I believe its an average manipulation exercise, along with Holder at KL and others. Once new averages are declared, changes to teams will happen. Then we will see the riders points return to normal! Â While not winning, as most expected, at least the team are getting points on the board every meeting.

SteveLyric2
Very pleased with a point cos I didn't think we'd get one. Â Kurtz brought his own 'Australia's Got Talent' to the Rye raceway on Saturday evening. Â Hans - a bit upset with his own scores but pleased with the team point. (He last rode Rye House back in 2005!!)
ray c
James look's that he is now finding it a little hard going perhaps he should also ride in the national league as well. to get more track time just my opinion
tellboy
We will see in a couple of weeks but I don't think Rye will run us close at Poole. Â Good fought battle tonight and considering Kk and Hans didn't know the track I thought we did well. Poor guest as I expected though. Why do people keep using the excuse of so and so don't know the track. This will be the case for most teams that visit Rye and Somerset this season.Anyway KK and Hans are meant to be top riders so i'm sure they themselves wouldn't use that excuse.
Starman2006
Â Slick tracks produce closer racing partly because most riders can ride them which is not the case with grippy tracks. Interesting that the heat one time was the same as Rob set last meeting there in the NL league last season. I believe there has been a promise of dirt arriving but the place they get shale has said its still too wet. Â Junior Bikes nowadays are not set up for grippy tracks. This time of year you need to run slick. That's a very interesting point. Race times are irrelevant. They certainly are close racing is better than quick times.
LisaColette
BWD scored more than Kerr or Newman would of as both are poor at Rye.  Whys it funny?? Whole team Branford aside are capable round there and Kurtz aside no one from Poole is really in form  Robbo has never really done anything at Poole, Harris hasn't had a good meeting at Poole for last couple of seasons. Scott can be good or can be average, Wells probably good for 5/6 points. Kennett should get double figures and not sure about the reserves. jim3751
I would prefer to see more shale but maybe the reason for a slick track is for the benefit of the more casual spectators who despite dirt deflectors might get hit with lumps of shale. Nothing to do with being hit by lumps of shale. Bike make ups are not made for deep tracks anymore. They cannot handle it.

Starman2006
In other Poole news, I see the website looks a lot better!! Bit short on posters Lis. Steve posted half the thead for wednesaday and only 12 for the rye meeting, not good. Still even the famous four clowns have stopped posting. Funny that.... I don't think Jason Doyle is trying to get his average down as badly as KK or Holder,as you say. Replacing riders should be for out of form - as in Davey Watt or injury and watching Ellis Perks put it over respected seasoned riders is what makes Speedway fun. poolebolton
I thought we were getting a new website?? Is this no longer happening. I'm a little bit disappointed with this Rye House team though. It should be a thrashing of the Poole team at that track. Â It's hard to judge Rye House when they haven't raced away from home. Â It will not be within 8 at Poole. If KK takes this Rye House speed at home we might finally start to see him live up to expectations. Â But it will be about 50-40 at home if not higher. KK,Kurtz and Hans should combine for 35 points at home. Edited April 23, 2017 by poolebolton
