PE7Panther
Good summaries by Mildenhall1965 and Panthers89. To read some of the other comments on here you'd think there was no passing. But there was, and it was a much more entertaining meeting than at Ipswich. By the way, those fans who got away smartish after heat 15 were shocked to find the big exit gates to the car-park closed AND locked! Ged needs to look into it and make sure it never happens again. It was just a well that a few burly blokes at the front had the nous to rock the gates to break the lock before a crush built up. It got an even bigger cheer than Holder got for winning the last race! Edited April 17, 2017 by PE7Panther
Lukas
It's lovely coming on here reading all these would be managers!!...To be fair there ain't much for a speedway manager to do so the least you expect is to make the right moves when needed..And that didn't happen today.

Not happened before, so cant imagine will happen again (hopefully!)

Not happened before, so cant imagine will happen again (hopefully!) The lock broke and flew into the air so that'll need replacing - but it was a cheapo thing, about a tenner max. The gate/s were ok but one of the vertical bars got a bit bent. So Ged shouldn't have any real probs. So I was told by, erm, a mate who led the break-out.... The Showground elf 'n safety numpties worry about people standing at the back (ridiculous!) and yet they let something like this happen Edited April 17, 2017 by PE7Panther

Lukas
5 from 5 rides for Lambert today..Probably slowed down by having the weight of you and your mate on his back all the time.

Lukas
Jack Holder take a bow son!..That is how to be a number 1. If im honest i weren't keen on having him but a few more performances like that will soon change my mind. Super meeting with impressive performances also from Heeps, Schlein, Mountain and BWD..Who appears to be abit of a character(loved his interview!). Negative points for me were poor team management, Bacon's performance and how slick the track was...which i don't get as the last Sunday meeting was a lot hotter and dryer than today and the track was bang on then..Went home happy though.👍

New era Panthers
Think it's time to add a bit more shale to our ploughed field!! Good idea lets put plenty on make it really grippy , It works for Ipswich . Lets take a leaf out of there book . Nothing wrong in making sure you win all your home matches. bigcatdiary
But what happens if the opposing team don't like a grippy track The same as if they don't like a super slick track they invariably get stuffed, like us at yours on Saturday and you at Sheffield last week. Thats the thing, good home track advantage or a track both teams put 100% in? Would sheffield fans moan if they win the league on a slick boring track? Panthers might struggle when Lambert moves down to reserve, shame its not later in the Season
