Sheffield come with a 1 3 and 5 as good as any in the league, throw in Todd Kurtz and Josh Bates and you have a side that will challenge for the trophies this year. The diamonds will need to fight to win this match. Sheffield are a bit hampered with R/R for Josh Bates and whomever takes to the track with the Number 6 jacket. On Thursday they had a guest in Mark Riss at number 6 and he notched up 14 + 1 from 7 rides

We should be at full strength for this one.

Β

We don't normally go well at Brough Park, but fro us to get anything from the meeting we will have to make sure that we get shared heats that feature Lambert and Worrall, and try and get some sort advantage when they are not out.

Β

Heats 13 and 15 could well be our downfall.

At least It's been called off early enough to save the Sheffield supporters a wasted journey.

Tigers on Tour lads were in Ctr of Newcastle and most riders were around an hour away when it was called off

What was the alternative? Weather forecast was for the rain to stop which would have allowed track work to be carried out to potentially get the meeting on.

Β

As the rain hasn't stopped in time the only option is to call the meeting off.

Β

What would you have preferred? That the meeting was cancelled prior to a drop of rain falling on the off-chance that it might?

What's your problem? He was just saying that the Sheffield fans was already there when a Newcastle fan said that they called it off early enough to stop them from travelling...

He's edited his post so it is less accusatory. He originally claimed it had been called off too late.
