Speedy swindon pete
But his "injury" massively helped Swindon into the next round of the KOC Are you still banging on about that? Have a word. Your lot were complete toilet over two legs. Get over it.
keef robin
Superb meeting, big crowd, rain just held off before end. Man of the match won by David Bellego, sublime fourth to first move. Hansi did well, and Morra unlucky. Adam and KK weak links. If only all speedway matches were like this, great entertainment, draw was fair result. Swindon 2 defeats, 1 draw now in league, and 2 Ko Cup wins. hagonshocker
Chucked that meeting away with Nicks bike issue then not stopping Hans run in heat 13 plus I wasn't sure why Rosco replaced Adam in his last ride leaving Zach all at sea on gate 4? Was Ellis unfit to take his 4th ride? Surely he could had gated from 2 and at least stopped Kerr from hitting the first corner in front?? Still fancied Adam to have at least beat Lewis unlike Zach
scottyfan
Think Poole need to sign a new no.1.......Kasprzak is s***!!
LisaColette
May have cost Swindon points. I feel sorry for the lad. He was signed as a heatleader but he's not one. He was a very good reserve for Poole but was always going to struggle a bit in the top end of the team. Is concerning that even before his injury he was struggling to beat even reserves though in this years weaker league. Hopefully he will come good He should be okay, look at his scores he got at Swindon last year. Prob his best away track if you don't count Lakeside. ouch
Poole very lucky again. Too much from the gate looking at the updates and that's manner from heaven for the pirates. Doyle will have trimmed 3-4 points off his average by the time they come out.
LisaColette
All the people that were on Chris Holders back last season, but his replacement is worse, bring back NoddyUnlikely, looks like bridges are burnt on that one!

Great advert for league speedway.

Bellego also said afterwards that Adam was struggling with his wrist. Maybe he came back too soon but, then again, he needs to get a proper average so needs meetings. A ORLOV
A draw is not a bad result but note if Morra had not stopped on the start line in heat 11 we would have won by 4 points. Overall a good meeting apart from the numerous delays, they are going to have to speed up these meetings. Good scores by Nick Morris, David Bellego, Jason Doyle, Hans Andersen, Nicolai Klindt and Brady Kurtz. I was right about Adam returning too soon but he claims it is his engines letting him down and not his wrist. Steve Shovlar
Just got back and a super fightback from Pirates almost saw us take the win, but in the end a draw a fair result imo. Swindon started on fire and were thrashing us out of the starts to be 22 14 up, but then Poole got dialled in and started to pull it back. Knew the 4 points up after heat 13 were not quite enough and feel a big big trick was missed, though to be honest it would have been a suprise had it been attempted. Richings had one ride left and was always going to run a last in heat 14. So why not remove KK who had been slow, and stick Richings in heat 13 with Hans? Then we could have used Klindt alongside Brady in heat 14 and possibly have won the meeting before the last race. Certainly a good chance of a 3-3 with Bellego winning which would given us a two point victory on the night. No good saying Adam came back too early. He is part of the team and needs to come back to get dialled in. Saw him before the meeting and he seemed fine. If a riders says they are fit they can't just be left out as r/r might have got more. We would never see a full 1-7 from any club! Thought Hans was brilliant. Started this season far better than last year. Looks fast and aggressive. KK looks very slow. Needs faster bikes no good being picked off by Bellego. Way too slow. A good result for Pirates but giving away such a big lead cost us the win. We seem to do it every time we go there. Interesting idea with the reserve switch and one that might have worked, although can't help wonder how KK would have reacted to being replaced by a guest reserve. All Adam needs is a spell at reserve and I'm sure he'll start putting in a lot of points. The only way he will get a spell at reserve is by getting meetings under his belt. With Swindon not winning and Stefan Nielsen reportedly riding well, Zach needs to up his game. Definite potential there, though. Tonight clears up the Bellego\Sedgman debate in my eyes!
