Swindon V Poole 16/4/17 5 Pm

Recommended Posts

Kerr around Swindon isn't particularly amazing no way he would score more than 4 but add the potential scores of Kurtz Holder and Klindt x 2 and that could add extra points

Darryl Ritchings for James Shane's on Poole website. Home win.

A Swindon asset riding against them as a guest I guess that's the weird sometimes wonderful world of speedway Edited by hagonshocker

Pirates have R/r for Kerr and a 2 pointer for Shanes. JPB?

Kerr has been riding well so will be sorely missed tomorrow. In fact he has suprised me greatly and I am sure he will be snaffled up by a club as soon as Kyle comes back into the side. Leicester could replace Gomolski andwould also save money

Anyway back to tomorrow. Pirates will be after a win and hopefully will get it. Just need to get Holder riding a bit more consistently. KK and Hans are pretty good around Blunsdon and Brady is riding very well at the moment. Missing Kerr will mean extra rides for Kurtz, Holder and two for Klindt. With a two pointer the other reserve, Klindt is going to get 7 rides.

Should be a good meeting on a slick dry track being a 5 pm start. Lots of Poole fans coming up again. Should be a big crowd.

Not sure that Brady can take an extra ride - only Jack, Nicolai and Ritchings if necessary!!

Should be another close one.

I take it the car park is still fully operational or is it reduced capacity??

Slightly reduced by the new stadium (a heap of dirt).

Can't let this thread go quiet.

With Swindon now at full strength with their 1-7 and Pirates 2 men down, it should in theory be a Swindon victory. Full side, home advantage, what could possibly go wrong? People on here are saying Poole are not a good side this year and have already been turned over by Wolves, Belle Vue and Somerset.

So Swindon fans should feel ultra confident that their team will send Pirates home pointless tomorrow evening, without even a bonus point to our name.

Or will the Poole from last Saturday turn up and do to Swindon what we did to Leicester?

Roll on tomorrow!

According to Adam Ellis in the Adver he will be riding in this meeting, not sure if that is a good idea but we shall see.

But Poole say that once a facility has been sanctioned the original rider can't come back in. Somobviously in the spirit of fair play, Poole will make sure Adam Ellis doesn't ride.

Or Poole will admit they're talking crap and KK could have rode yesterday.

Poole obviously strengthened by having R/R and local hero Darryl Ritchins against the team most people were predicting to be down at the bottom of the table.

Anything less than a 20 point Pirate win and their season is effectively over before it's begun.

Is KK riding or did he discover his shoe laces were undone so had to pull out?

Top v bottom...Hope there will be nothing to choose between the 8 clubs throughout the season.

Morra superb start and the other 6 will keep improving. Swindon staying bottom yer avin a giraffe!

Somebody has to finish bottom mate, and it won't be us... ;)

After going to both meetings seems Poole made a slightly better effort to keep the dust down slightly. OTA was a shambles dust wise , the only time the bowser came out later on in the meeting it covered about a 6ft wide near the airfence. Next race all 4 riders stuck to the inside so more eye irritating dust. Even the kid on the bike before the meeting was kicking up dust , its hard to believe such a good track can have a curator/management that has such disregard for its preparation. Must try harder.

Dunno why it affects this meeting.

Shouldn't be, the bookies would have got it well wrong, Belle Vue and Poole should be well in front of the other 6, and Swindon wont be bottom.

9am, Rosco expecting a big crowd

Hundreds in there at the moment then I realised it was a market and came away again !
