ProudtobeaBrummie
lots of spills texter says not many thrills.. As much as if i was a cradley fan i would without doubt be annoyed because if milldenhall turned up with there 1-7 not bewley cradley win that meeting no doubt about that ... but like you say there the good/bad bit of luck you get... What was the poor racing down too ?
Heathen1984
Without Bewley wud of been a cradley win but suppose u take it wen u can av a guest like Bewley so fair play. Greenwood let Cradley down, shud be better than that. Was a boring meeting, best team won thou.
acef
Bewley will average close to 11 this season. With respect to the NL, he's a million steps ahead of it. My concern is he will run himself into the ground with so many meetings. He's not just doing 3 leagues he's taking guest bookings as well. The way started for Glasgow and BV he's probably earning more than enough. NL is a development league. Dan is already developed past it, at just 17! Trevor
I think it was important he had NL this season, he could have struggled in the top league and lost confidence. We can now see that is unlikely, but for 17 year olds, new to the sport, and new to the top league, the NL can be an important safety net. bruno
At 17 he should be getting the riding / rest balance right. He won't because all youngsters want to do is ride there bike. Hope doing to much doesn't cause tiredness resulting in an injury. Cracking looking rider though. Luckily for me I'm in the lakes so missed last nights defeat
MattJ81
I think it was important he had NL this season, he could have struggled in the top league and lost confidence. We can now see that is unlikely, but for 17 year olds, new to the sport, and new to the top league, the NL can be an important safety net. Agree with that. Nobody laid a glove on him all night and he came within a quarter of a second of Max Clegg's NL track record. Jon Armstrong rolled back the years, in particular a second bend cut back on Tom Perry that worked a treat and when Jenkins got dialled in for the second half of the meeting it was always going to be an uphill battle for Cradley. Greenwood didn't have the best start to the meeting with a big crash and having his machine carried back into the pits didn't bode well, special mention to Luke Harris who was nice and steady all night until Heat 14 when he kept it screwed on around a strong challenge from Jenkins to take the win in a great race - great to see him start the season so well. Not the best start to our Monmore campaign but not many riders (home or away) will produce a performance like Bewley to lead a team to victory this season
Gunner85
Good win for mildenhall. Bewley made the difference ..... Meeting took an eternity to get through.

Ommer Mon
Yep, we were mauled by the Moggies! Dan Bewley is a class act and was about three seconds faster than anybody else. He was the main difference but Dan Greenwood's crash and bike problems didn't help. Tom and Danny are great racers but neither of them are too hot off the gate and that does make life difficult (and may continue to do so when we are the second half of a 'double header' at Monmore and the dirt has disappeared). I agree that Luke Harris is a different rider from the one we saw at Perry Barr a couple of years ago. Good to see him make progress. Over all I agree with Will Pottinger. There's no need to panic yet. I still think we are good for a top 4 spot. Final word, well done Armo. You can't take it away from him. He's still got it at this level! PS Hope Dan Bewley makes the most of his practice tonight! Edited April 18, 2017 by Ommer Mon
Moleman27
Yeah Luke Harris was always gonna do well this season as last season was just behind on speed to JPB and Jack Smith at Birmngham for Eastie at end of the season.
