havenagotahope
If they can hit the first bend in front that would be progress.

Hamster00
How long until we get the generic posts saying despite the result it was a great meeting from Big Eddie and the like  Nine meetings so far and one win says it all. havenagotahope
From the Jaws of victory we snatched defeat time for a mass clear out but really don't care any more won't be back
Goldmember06
Struggling out of the starts, getting muscled out of scoring positions. Think any of the seven can be under threat for their team place tbh and I've never understood why we never try and do some sort of track prep to help our lads during a meeting. Berwick in recent seasons seem more interested in getting meetings finished quickly rather than winning. Weeyin
Great result for the Tigers , I honestly thought we would lose when 8 points down. Gappmaier is a trump card for the bandits at reserve. But why oh why did Bridger get heat 15 , I would have put Vissing in and hope that he made the gate. That decision lost the meeting for the bandits IMO .well done to Aaron Summers and Richie Worrall outstanding for the Tigers

Hamster00
Interesting that you use the word generic with regard to me being specific.  Just saying...  I should have probably used the word predictable  It's interesting that you can find fault in my choice of words but you never seem to be able to find fault with this team 🤔 Edited April 15, 2017 by Hamster00
allthegearbutnaeidea
Bridger and Liam at fault tonight and actually Havelock for putting Bridger in heat 15, he's quick enough but he's not made a gate since heat 1 vs Ipswich 2 weeks ago, should of just put Claus in and hoped that he made the gate and rode the boards, really really dissapointed with tonight bottling it

bigeddiechek
I should have probably used the word predictable  It's interesting that you can find fault in my choice of words but you never seem to be able to find fault with this team  I said that the performances were not good enough, that not good enough for you? I'm not going to sit behind a keyboard and single out any riders.  Losing that meeting tonight was a sore one, after building up a deserved 8 point margin. I did thoroughly enjoy it until heat 15.  Taking a neutral perspective, it was another well run, well presented, entertaining meeting.  Kev really set an example as Captain tonight, hungry and some excellent riders.  So, we know there are problem areas, I'm sure they will be addressed. You feeling alright Scott?  You know me Sarah
topsoil
Disappointed to lose tonight especially after an 8 point lead. The edge was taken off a bit by the fact there was some really good racing tonight. Gappmaier and Perry in heat 2, Doolan's third to first in heat 3, Summers' cut back to drive up inside Vissing, heat 14 between Gappmaier and Lunna, all great to watch. R/R certainly worked for Berwick tonight and Gappmaier had his best meeting of the season, really impressed with him tonight. If I was a neutral tonight I would have come away pretty impressed with that tonight. Good crowd, plenty of close, hard racing, passing in most races, 21 heats including 6 junior races in a touch over 2 hours on a well-prepared track. I have to say the track preparation has been far better this season. Even the junior meeting provided some good racing, the young lad McGurk gong from last to second off the last bend. But there was a lot of talk around tonight of fans won't be coming back because of results. That's their choice of course. Each to their own. Will be interesting to see the crowd level next week.
Fromafar
Well done to the Tigers we will never have a better chance of beating them,Lawson looked slow,Bewley and Smith didn't really turn up and we still lost.Bridger in Ht 15 was a strange decision given how slick the track was all night he never looked like making a gate,I think a lot would agree if he gated he would not be past very easily but he just doesn't gate.Dany and Doolan were excllent.
