James Shanes has impressed, though i wasn't wrong about him as i didn't really notice him before this season apart from his Long Track/Grass stuff

The lads a real trier, hasn't got much size about him but if he stays away from injury could well have a promising career.

Chris Holders start to the season is a worry for the Stars. Very average so far, lets hope he picks it up soon or we will have wasted a huge number of points signing him. Lewis Rose is the opposite with an excellent start.

Good to hear that Lewis Rose is continuing his improvement.

I suspect that when the new averages come our then KL will make a rider ( or two swap ) because Chris Holders's average will have slumped/ Is it a scam? If a rider is on a very good per match fee ( not of course compared to Poland ) then no income is lost. I do hope that it is not really so cynical but we will see.

It does make me a little suspicious, I thought Holder was doing well at the end of last season, but has been very average so far for Lynn. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now, after all he has signed for a new club, is riding a new home track etc, but it will be interesting to see how he does in the first GP of the season tomorrow.

I'm sure in the back of his mind he thinks that if he gets his average down, then he could fit in back at Poole at some point in the future, but who knows, we can only speculate? Probably he is just not having a good start to the season!

He had a similar poor start last year with Poole, especially away. Makes ya wonder.

Kyle Howarth seems to have gone up a level so far this season for Wolves and Daniel Bewley has impressed me every time I see him ride and is potentially destined for bigger things

I totally agree with you.

The bonus, for me, is that he rides for Belle Vue. Provided he avoids injuries I am already convinced that he will go far in the Sport.

The very best of luck to him.

Keep an eye on Kyle Bickley, another Belle Vue youngster, he turned 15 last February, scored 4+2 on his away debut at Stoke, then topped that with 8*2 from 4 rides on his home debut against Mildenhall. Like Dan, he has a fantastic style and will go a long way in the sport.

Tom Brennan's scores have looked a lot better so far though

Caught Kings Lynn at Monmore in the 'warm up' event before Cradley took to the track.

Chris Holder was dreadful.

If he doesn't improve on that I expect him to be back at Poole as reserve in time for the Play Offs!
