keef robin
From the Monk, what is the quickest walking route to the stadium? As Orlovski and shocker said, just follow the crowds. Would definitely take torch.
AlanF
Lucky guy. Not been to either of those. Walked round the Lough a few years ago amongst the weeds and derelict buildings before they completely flattened it. Very eerie and dead quiet We used to go to Scotland every year as I have an auntie and uncle who live in Edinburgh (still do to this day). In the late 70's he took us to Powderhall to watch Edinburgh v Belle Vue in an inter league challenge. I remember Peter Collins and Chris Morton were riding for Belle Vue. I thought it was wonderful. He also took us to see Hearts v Airdrie in a League Cup game and was a terrible 0-0 draw.

keef robin
After tonight 4 consecutive Thursdays without a Robins match. People may lose interest. Need regular meetings.
hagonshocker
After tonight 4 consecutive Thursdays without a Robins match. People may lose interest. Need regular meetings.Mad isn't it? Not everyone are probably available Sunday what with some going away for Easter so that's a ridiculous gap
keef robin
Can't afford for me and the missus to go tonight and Sunday so we chose the Poole meeting on Sunday. The big gap is probably due to thinking they would be in the new stadium. Don't remember gaps years ago in the days of 18 team leagues. EnglishRoundabout
I know once you could cut straight over the field across the road from the monk which led behind the market but not sure now with it being built on so safe bet is turn left out of the monk and follow the road til the bend where on the right side is a path that still cuts through the existing and houses being built which takes you onto Lady Lane allow about 10 minutes Are you talking about the days when you used to sneak in shocker? Panthers89
Davey Watt = absolute garbage! Must be rimming the trap door as we speak!
Shadders
Tie was lost last Thursday when Ellis was injured. RR killed us, 17 points over the two legs. No way on earth would Ellis have got near that. Add to Davey Watts pitiful haul of 5 points from 7 rides and there you have it. By my reckoning he's averaging 3.66 after 3 meetings, 2 of them at home. The only opposition riders he's finished ahead of are Bellego, Thorssel & Clegg. keef robin
Well done Robins...all square after heat 12, then 3 Swindon 5-1s. Great score from Morra again, top rider again. How did crowd compare with last week? Bring on The Pirates.
SCB
Taxi for Watt. Â And fair play to BWD, really stepping up this year. Started very ordinary but two big scores vs Rye.
Steve Shovlar
Writing was on the wall for Watt this time last year. He should be in the second division and is living on borrowed time both here and in Poland. Â He has been a good servant for British speedway. A shame to hear that he is a pale shadow of the rider to do so well for Poole on numerous occasions.

How did crowd compare with last week? Bring on The Pirates. The crowd was down a bit from last week but not to bad when 2 home meetings are in such a short space of time. Â Robins need to improve at reserve even though Emil won his last race tonight. Â R/R was the difference over the 2 legs as The Robins got 17 points from it. Â Nobody would've put money on Adam getting that. Writing was on the wall for Watt this time last year. He should be in the second division and is living on borrowed time both here and in Poland. Sad to see Davey look so poor but he was always the same for much of his career. Â Never did much overtaking & relied on his gating.

Saw on twitter this afternoon that Ellis had done a few laps at Eastbourne, maybe he'll be back sooner than at first thought ?
