acef
This wolves team needs at least 3 changes. They'll have plenty of scope to do it I'd think. Belle Vue looking good. We will be even better with Zagar for Fricke if you believe the rumours
WestGorton1884
Likewise, sat outside stadium, 12noon And it's pouring down , Don't think they'll be watering the track I stand corrected , Who'd have thought it .....? acef
I stand corrected , Who'd have thought it .....? What rumours ? The one I've just started lol Couple of people mentioned it. I've always felt max isn't fully committed to the UK and have said as much on here. Lots of talent and will go far in the sport, but his application here sometimes wonders. It's pure speculation at this stage but I wouldn't be at all surprised if the feeling amongst some is correct.
mikec
Bit of a slow burner of a match, due to the extra grippy conditions early doors after the morning rain. Another win against a spirited Wolves side. Howarth rode well, Masters was good early on, Thorssell was excellent throughout. Lindgren was fun to watch as ever at the NSS. Solid team effort from the Aces, Bjerre electric again, though made to work mighty hard for his maximum in a cracking heat 15. Can't end this post without mentioning heat 11 - just wow! The 4 lap battle between Cookie & Fast Fred was absolutely fantastic, & a sporting handshake to boot after the race. 60 seconds which summed up why I love this sport. Phil The Ace
Not the greatest meeting. Heat 11 standing out. Brilliant race between cook and freddie. And a handshake this time.
hyderd
missed the meeting due to work, would love to see a recording of heat 11 if possible.
Rob B
missed the meeting due to work, would love to see a recording of heat 11 if possible. Hopefully Clean Cut Sports will put it online. Was concentrating on the Cook/Lindgren battle that didn't see Bewley pass Howarth!
Gunner85
When the track was heavy at the start, there was grip everywhere. As it dried out the entertainment value was good. Good win. Wolves probably changing reserves as soon as they can..

speedcrazy
Or was Freddie racing fair this time? Avoiding Cooks dummy he spat out last year
Bagpuss
Jesus Christ, the two riders are mature enough to have put last year's spat behind them, perhaps some of you lot should do the same.
stevebrum
raced fair last time He raced hard , just like Cook did earlier in the meeting. Nothing wrong with either move.
Joe Beevers
Another good result for Belle View beating another one of the favoured teams by a good margin. I am dreading to see what the scores are going to be like when Somerset, Leicester and Swindon have to go there. Is this beginning to look like an unfair home advantage or a real excellent side. Time will tell.
WestGorton1884
Personally , I thought Lindgren rode Cook into the fence , but its history now always rated Fast Freddie
stevebrum
Personally , I thought Lindgren rode Cook into the fence , but its history now always rated Fast Freddie Cook did the same earlier in the meeting. Likewise I like Cookie. Every team would want his passion on your side.
acef
Cook is a weird phenomenon in that he genuinely does ride for the badge. Got a long affiliation with the club now, I'd find it really difficult watching him race elsewhere in the top league.

Brilliant captain too.
