LisaColette
As I said earlier it seemed like there was more shale on the track so perhaps hadn't bedded in but again as I said to Shovlar Poole fans can't really complain about it being a dust bowl when in the morning the dust was coming over the dog track and to the fans it was that bad.Always going to be dusty for day meetings unless there is rain about. Evening meetings should not be dusty wherever the track is!
Bagpuss
Unless there is the threat of rain, in which case it would be daft to water and therefore a bit of dust is necessary.

Always been a problem with daytime meetings. As I said if you read my posts. They drowned the track on thurs night and it was still sodden early Friday morning, then after grading they drowned it again. So do you have a solution ? Unless there is the threat of rain, in which case it would be daft to water and therefore a bit of dust is necessary. Nothing like stating the obvious. With the threat of showers it was decided not to overwater before the meeting. Talking to Ez he says they are in need of new shale so don't think any extra was put on the track, what is on there is dead and really just dust the same problem at Poole surprisingly. You sure about that the track looked as dry as anything and a hose isn't going to change that. Needed way more water than what was put down. I appreciate that midday is hard to prepare a track but as I said two hoses are not a solution so maybe a better water distribution system works be better. As for the OTA as I said it seemed like there was some new shale on top which hadn't bedded in. There was water put on with the bowser during the meeting but there was a small cold wind that just dried the track add in the fact the track changed so much over the course of the meeting as stated by the riders so I could ask you for a solution too? There was still some good racing last night.

Aroundtheboards
When Somerset went into the Premiership I was delighted that we wouldn't have to go to Scotland anymore or read the garbage that Glaswegian fans came up with, making excuses for losing and moving goal posts to make the write up go in their favour or at least to make them believe it was in their favour ! Goodbye and good riddance I say! But now look ! We have POOLE !!! "If this and if that and this guest was not suitable and that guest was not up to it, the track was dusty, the tractor driver failed to salute me, a POOLE fan" !!! If I was Garrity and read some of the bulls**t that is directed at his efforts to guest for you lot last night, I would turn my back next time. It is POOLE'S fault they need a guest in the first place by hiring a rider that has about as much loyalty as a lettuce devouring slug !!! As for dust bowls !!! I would say pot calling the kettle grimy backside. Get over it and play the cards you are dealt with !!! POOLE doesn't warrant anymore preferential treatment than any other Team in the league !!! Nice to see a good turnout from POOLE last night, I wonder did the SOMERSET fans leave Wimborne Road before the termination of the match ? Unlike your fans who couldn't wait to get out because Somerset had the audacity to put 4 points over you ! Still you went away with a league point to add to your 3 in the morning so you had a fruitful day. One thing I am glad about is that although Somerset fans felt a bit low after the morning match and enjoyed the return match, they have still got their sense of humour and don't look for anyone else to blame for their team's shortfalls and look forward to the next match, LEICESTER !!! Look forward to the rest of your season GLAS - - - Sorry, POOLE !!! Edited April 15, 2017 by Aroundtheboards

SCB
Interesting to see one or two Poole fans turning on Lord Ford. I can't stand the bloke but on this occasion IF the rules state that a facility can't be revoked then it's the rulebook itself which has allowed Kasprzak to stick two fingers up to British speedway. Whichever way round it is its yet another nail in the coffin unfortunately.Theres no such rules. Or how have Swindon got Adam Ellis back tomorrow? They must have declared r/r for him previously. Obviously if it's fresh in Pooles mind about reverting back to your original rider from a facility they'll be appealing Swindons use of Ellis tomorrow. You think that is the proper way to curate a track? Edited April 15, 2017 by Brummie Rebel
