sommelier
This meeting for me is right up there that I'm looking forward to in the UK this year. IMO this will be the most pressure on Lambert that he has ever had to deal with. Was at Coventry in 2015 when he went through the card and lost in the final to Howarth. Last year at Sheffield same again but come the final lost out to Bates, maybe on that particular night if he had listened to Olly Allen regarding gate positions could well have won that night. Just the hope the Poole track is as rough as hell, even rougher than normal leave all the ruts, holes throw ten ton off dirt on it and Lambert will revel in it! Falcon Hammer
See you down there; Lambert to go unbeaten in the qualifiers & Bewley to win the final
mikec
Agree with you Sommelier, it should be a cracking meeting. Lambert the obvious favourite, will be fascinating to see how the likes of Shanes, Hume, Mountain etc go, as well as the young tyros from my club, Bewley & Smith. Â Really good line-up, I'm sure the Poole (& other southern based) fans will turn out in force to support the young lads, there's some exciting talent out there, I reckon they'll be in for a real treat!
Steve Shovlar
I will be there but doubt very much there will be a big crowd. Half the usual size? Â Need it to be no more than a tenner for a crowd to turn up. Â Lambert should walk it.

mdmc82
Hand injury for Bates tonight so a serious doubt for this meeting. Would be a shame for him not to be able to defend his title

g13webb
Have always believed, the format makes this competition into a lottery of a single race winner. If we are to have semis and finals why not add those points to the ones they scored in the meeting. We spend the whole meeting watching races that mean nothing other than getting a place in a one race final.... Surely it would be more beneficial to the rider, to the fans and the competition if all the races were important and counted toward the overall winner... Â The fact that Lambert has gone through the card twice in recent years and still lost, makes this format a joke.... Wessex Wanderer
Got to agree with you there GRW123. Myself I would like to see the same format up to the final but then the points of 6 4 and 2 added to those riders 1 to 20 totals. Would keep interest going to the end without it becoming the lottery you have described. Â But probably would be unpopular with many who seem to just not like any sort of change.
