Leicester V Poole 8/4/17 Ela

Recommended Posts

I think this is a good time to ride against Poole, with them starting the season quiet shakey . For this reason I can see Leicester capalising on their good start with another close win. If Poole go home with a bonus point then they shoud be pleased...

Gone are the days when Poole results were foregone conclusions, and that has to be good.....

Sure got that one wrong. Probably the heart ruling the head a,nd wanting to see Leicester do well. Well done to Poole Pirates..

Well its still early as we all know. But good to see the fightback. KK and Andersen on form and Brady is going.

Holder going crap. But when you win oh well. But good to see on twitter that he is angry at himself, good to see that from a rider and he will improve.

KK= Finally saw the KK we all know and seemed to really get going. Love to see that.

Holder= Bad night, but see above.

Kerr= Good improvement, will get better and better. Still stronger with Newman but nice improvement.

Kurtz= Seems to have stepped up this season. Paid Max. Rider of the night (apart from Kacper)

Hans= Back on the gas. Just needed more laps and now going really well

Klindt= Went really well, will swap with Holder soon.

Shanes= Did well again and what we needed him to do. On a track I doubt he has ridden before.

Fancy Poole to edge this, 46-44ish. Wouldn't use last night's result as a form guide, they met a home side running red hot. It happens, seen my team on the wrong end of that plenty of times. Was no lack of effort from the Pirates imo, they were simply outgunned.

Expect Andersen, Kurtz & Klindt to go well, hopefully good close racing on a perfect Saturday evening for watching speedway.

Wasn't close, but....

POOLE 56 - B. Kurtz 12 , N. Klindt 11+1, H. Andersen 11+1 ......

Typical i had no money on those lads though! Poole will be there or thereabouts come October, no doubts about that..

Leicester=

Nilsson= Proving to be a good number 1. Wish Matt had signed him up.

Auty= A rider I hate as people might know. Just never made step up. But better than Holder and solid.

Kacper G= Must have been paid off. I have never heard of a rider falling off so much in such few meetings.

Schlein= Sounded like he was a good replacement. Gave his all as we all know he loves to do.

King= Tried his hardest from the sounds of things. Needs to step up to back up Kim. Seems to have bike issues

Jan Graversen= Awful, not a good replacement for Bates. I feel him riding for Shef will come back to haunt you.

Ayers= sounds like a great trier and thats what you meant to be at 7 solid.

Write off our Poole Pirates at your own risk. Totally different performance to last night with every rider bending their bikes in half to slaughter Leicester. I guess riot act well and truly read.

Fabulous dominant Pirates. Leicester never stood a chance tonight.

He wouldn't have got near Klindt who has seen off King.

Bet it wasn't a patch on last nights meeting though, was it?But knowing you this would have been the best one because you won

one never knows what goes on behind the speedway scenes

Pure speculation on your part. You should never speculate about something you cannot prove.

Slaughter fest.

So many embarrassing performances.

Angry with myself for wasting an evening and money on a boring predictable defeat. I expected a stuffing when Graverson was Bates's replacement and it came. The gulf in ability and the predictability made it boring.

Cricket season upon us. That's my lot for Saturday's. Non Saturday attendance will depend on a settled side.

Leicester management brought shame on the club tonight.

Team manager they chose is clearly not good enough, far too many mistakes made this season already by him that has cost the club.

Riders selected are poor, was graversen that last and only option, if so the sport is in a bigger mess than I thought. Also Ayres is not good enough for this league and needs replacing.

The track was the worst it's been and maybe they should of kept glyn.

Alot of lions fans will think hard about spending money on a weak patched up team again after tonight.

Absolutely desperate nights entertainment. The track changes have done nothing to improve the place.

From the heady heights of Belle Vue last Saturday to this utter snooze fest.

Angry at myself for wasting money on it.

Give it a chance
