Maximum Brothers

SCB

One of them would have to be at reserve for that to have happened. Or in an obscure format, so the recent EL format allowed it and the late 90s/early 00s Craven Sheild format allowed it.

I can't imagine theres been too many maximums on opposing teams. The only know I know of (and cant date it exactly) was a Craven Sheild meeting at Wolves, Bv were involved as Jason Lyons for a maximum but so did one of the Woles riders. so about 2000ish. But not brothers.

Ole Olsen (Wolves) and John Louis (Newport) scored maximums whilst riding in opposition I seem to recall...1971?

a thought some-one would 'do the stats',,, it was all a bit vague, from inside me pram ;)

don't suppose you know what the matches were (apart from Boston) ???

5/4 Oxford

19/4 Teesside

26/4 Canterbury

10/5 Weymouth

17/5 Boston

24/5 Stoke (KOC)

13/6 Scunthorpe

21/6 Rye House

2/8 Crayford

30/8 Coatbridge

20/9 Mildenhall

27/9 Berwick (KOC)

11/10 Stoke

Going back to the McKinna brothers, they came within a whisker of all 3 going unbeaten in the one match. 1/9/89 v Mildenhall, Kenny scored a full 15, Charlie 9+3 from 4 but was excluded on 2 mins in his first ride, and Martin 12+1 from 5 dropping his only point to Peter Glanz.

Not quite, Steve. 9/10/70 Olsen scored 4-11-0 for Wolves, Louis 5-15-0 from reserve for Newport. The two didn't meet, Olsen dropped his point to Bruce Cribb. A couple of weeks later 23/10 Louis guested for Hackney at reserve and scored 4-10-2 while West Ham's Barry Crowson recorded 5-14-0 in a challenge. Again they didn't meet, Garry Middleton taking the point from Crowson.
