No, scaphoid apparently.Out for a month or so.

That buggers up any decent team changes then because he'll still be on his stupid average when the 42 limit comes in.

Good Belle Vue win last night, result was never in doubt although they did lift their foot off the gas last few heats.

Looking forward to some great racing at Belle Vue tonight as was a bore fest last night!

No he didn't - the scaphoid is in the wrist!

It certainly is..

Starman if you watched the Poole v BV match what is your honest assessment of why according to Steve Shovlar it was a bore fest.I am expecting some good racing tonight at BV so what's different?

Yes i saw some of it and it was a bore feast.. Lets see what happens tonight sha'l we.. The difference is BV do not have dogs and you can access the place 7 days a week. Big difference

And what do you call poorly preped tracks then ? I can't wait to see the report from tonights meeting. Plenty of poole fans going up to give an honest assessment..

One without bumps.

One without holes.

One without waves.

One with more than 1 race line.

One that isn't Wimborne road.

And I'll gather you will not be one of those poole fans this evening. Shame that, I'd have loved to have met you.

I'm going to go on the record here because it's getting right on my **.

Poole is a rubbish track. Period. It's badly prepared and has been for a number of years now. I can go back through countless rider condemnations, some Poole's own/ex riders included in it. Even poole fans have thrown there hands up in admittance.

It's bumpy. It's wavy. It has a huge hole in it (or did) and it's got one racing line an inch from the fence.

The answer, to make it safe, is to pack it and make it slick. That effects the racing even mire. It needs ripping up and re laying. That is the simplicity of the truth.

And those trying to compare it to BV (and you know who you are-its a small amount)are buried so deep in jealousy. The NSS is a special race track. Imo it will go on to prove this season that it's at the very top of its list.

One swallow blah blah blah.....

I can't validate your statement. I can only speak on the numerous visits he has made to the Abbey, where he has made a lot of riders look very good due to his inability to mix it, despite his GP status.

I suspect most people, certainly Swindon fans, would say they are more likely to have seen rocking horse sh*t than a Bjerre overtaking manoeuvre.

Your not going to persuade me that Polar is anything other than a gating tart and what I witnessed last night was a miracle...😛

I'd suspect most Swindon fans would say they are more likely to have seen rocking horse s##t than ANY pass, let alone Bjerre, after watching that truly horrific example of speedway last night 😋 Edited by acef

Mate, you can chuck as much money as you want at it. But it will be ok for half a dozen meetings, then you will be back to square one.

It needs levelling after every season. Simple as that. And the sooner we stop ripping up the starts the better. And yes the one thing you are right about is this time of year you run it slick. Then we have the water table which affects the track.

But again, before the Darcy meeting and P&P day we had so much rain. But as you appear to be a track expert perhaps you can come down and sort it... Not.. Give Gerrald a ring..

One of the troubles with the track is that it gets wet and soft each time the tide comes in.
