Beowulf
I think this could be very close Leicester reserves should clean up Nillson and Danny King should be good at Monmore although Kacper, Riss and Auty maybe not so good but with Bates at reserves should make it very close. Er, Riss has ridden for Edinburgh which is very similar to Wolves and has the same track man! oh dear................................... Red Flag
Er, Riss has ridden for Edinburgh which is very similar to Wolves and has the same track man! oh dear................................... And he rode in Press and practise last year and looked impressive
stevebrum
And he rode in Press and practise last year and looked impressive I agree. Was hoping we would have signed him. Huge talent IMHO.
Perton Wolf
Leicester 14-10 up after 4 heats and deservedly so. Wolves' reserves are looking out of their depth yet again. Leicester's pair of reserves have already scored 8 between them.
Panthers89
Sack Skornicki and Greaves and get a decent reserve in, this is a recipe for disaster this line up for Wolves currently

Starman2006
I agree. Was hoping we would have signed him. Huge talent IMHO. But rode across the centre green tonight for his first ride and was excluded..
Panthers89
Skornicki did his job on Saturday tho. But who else do you get rid off? Not ever going to be Masters/Lindgren. Maybe Thorsell, Howarth would be very harsh! Numbers game end of the day.

Numbers game end of the day. Yes I agree if you look at it like that. Assuming there are 2 better signings out there of course that are committed to a full season. Greaves was always going to be a weak link and pretty much out his depth.(great gate in heat 4 at Leicester to hold 2nd for a lap). Clegg is needed to kick on for this line up to work - and that's assuming the top 5 are doing their job. I really thought Clegg had turned a corner at the tail end of last season. Agreed, it's difficult to make even changes replacing them both IMO. Starke and Williamson maybe.

I think Somerset might have something to say about Starke Does make you realise just how difficult team changes will be this season.
stevebrum
Agreed, it's difficult to make even changes replacing them both IMO. Starke and Williamson maybe. Not an improvement IMHO. Williamson is not even better than Clegg. Just goes to show how difficult it will be.

Hahahaha I thought he was somewhere! Not an improvement IMHO. Williamson is not even better than Clegg. Just goes to show how difficult it will be. Agreed. I mean you've got 9.49 for 2 riders..... but I don't think you can rely on skornicki to score 7-8 every meeting
Perton Wolf
Clegg and Greaves are literally half a lap behind at best nearly every single heat. It's one thing to struggle to score but to not even be competitive on your home track is embarrassing.

Perton Wolf
Leicester will have to feel hard done to there, the freak 5-0 in heat 10 was ultimately the difference.

stevebrum
A lucky win in the end. How long do we persevere with the reserves who are both clearly struggling? Already said Leicester are the dark horses of the league this year so no surprise on this performance.
Crazy robin
Leicester will have to feel hard done to there, the freak 5-0 in heat 10 was ultimately the difference. That & the crazy decision to not put Bates in for Ayres in Heat 14.
full-throttle
watching the updates and a few falls cost the Lions big time tonight, it could be a long season for Wolves at this rate.
