Scunthorpe Scorpions V Peterborough Panthers ( S G B Champ) - Sunday, April 2nd (5.30pm)

Recommended Posts

People should realise that riders have their ups & downs. Riders, for example, with a 7pt average will score 10pts at home from 4 rides (which is a good score) then score 4pts away (which is a poor score) but in effect in the 2 meetings, he rode to his average.

We needed to win & get good heat results in heats 13 & 14 but Holder & Ulrich put paid to that.

Wallner was a disgrace, fell & stayed on the track when we were leading, & then fell & cleared the track when his partner was ahead. We got a 5-1 in the rerun, so it backfired, & he isn't the first rider to do it, but I think the rules need to be looked at to stop it happening. Good performance from Panthers, & there is more to come from a few of our boys. Hope Hansen isn't going to be a 2 track pony like last year, because if he scores well away, I think we can surprise a few teams on our travels.

I fear he may be. We really do need to go unbeaten at home
