Steve Irving
Typical response , can dish it out but can't take itPerhaps practice what you preach! You were the one who came on to a thread not involving the team you support, and fired the first barb, and then gotten the arse ache when someone throws one back! dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Didn't Rory race for Britain once?Think there was talk he could/might but dont think he did at least not in any official fixture if at all. When talking about these type of situations I think you need to (try at least) ignore any individuals.  If not some bias is inevitable where your own teams rider or a personal favourite us involved. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Well this has gone downhill quicker than a fallen skier 😮 Â Must admit Im surprised NEP isnt a bit more chilled tonight after a good Boro performance today. Â Didnt see anymore than a (welcome) bit of banter in the first few posts from both sides.... Â In the words of the scouse comedy sketch....

Didnt see anymore than a (welcome) bit of banter in the first few posts from both sides.... In the words of the scouse comedy sketch.... Exactly. Not sure what the "dished out but can't take it" comment was all about, I was blatantly engaging in a bit of light hearted banter hence the smillie, but hey ho! crescent girl
Doesn't Rory Schlein race on a British ACU licence? Â Going back to the subject thread, once again Berwick were able to put a meeting on only -- to quote Ritchie Hawkins -- because they put down the covers during the day. Â Why, oh why don't other tracks do this? They are nearly all smaller, needing less covering material. Discuss.

While it is commendable what Berwick do regarding covering the track the point is if it raining when the meeting is about to start it is just about certain these days that the riders will do everything they can NOT to ride IMO .This has been proven many times in recent seasons, there is no meetings run in wet conditions nowadays. Most if not all tracks are working to a budget that is probably as good a reason as any that they don't do this.
