King is my eldests favourite haha she loves danny, I hope he bags more than 8 I do think Rory will push him hard for that no.1 jacket tho can see both getting plenty of maximums between them

I'd like every rider to remain injury free but RooBoy must be due an injury free spell which will definitely make him one of the league's top riders.

Lewis Bridger if he's regained his love for the sport should bein the top 3 riders in the league.

First things first, the promotion and helpers deserve a great deal of credit for getting this meeting on. A lot of rain overnight and up to early afternoon. Had it not been for covers the meeting would have been off. Given the conditions there was also some good racing as the track dried out as the meeting went on. Ipswich are an impressive outfit with a very strong top three. Danny King alwys goes well round Berwick and his ride to go round Kevin Doolan was just like his British Final win. Liam looked better tonight, cracking paid win in heat 1 and a win in heat 8.

First time I've arrived early at the track this season. I like the way the riders are introduced, something different and a good way for the fans to get close to the riders. I also liked the presenting tonight, some interviews with riders and fans and again the meeting was run at a decent pace. No crashes helps and again that is a compliment to the track.

Congratulations to Ipswich on getting through last night, and good luck against the Monarchs or the Tigers. Ipswich did just enough to get through and managed the meeting well in fact with just a few races to go they looked capable of winning on the night as well as over two legs. King and Schlein lead the team but IMO it was Nicole Covatti who was best Witch on the night.

Credit to Berwick on winning last night and good to see Liam Carr back among the points, hopefully his engine troubles are sorted and his new engine does the trick. Credit, and thanks also to the Berwi k track staff for the effort to get this meeting on as had it not been for the covers I doubt very much we would have seen any racing last night, might be an idea for other tracks to look at.

After a dodgy heat 1 it was mission accomplished by mid meeting as far as progressing to the the next round was concerned. Sounded like a controled performance by the Witches.

It does bode well for the upcoming league fixture there at the end of April that we could nick a point or more.

So far so good and a decent start to the season.

When your top 3 can score 30 you will always give yourself a chance.

Agree it was a promising sighter for the league meeting in a few weeks time SB.

I think if Rory and Danny can have an injury free season, they will both be in the top 3 of the averages, and it gives us a good shout at the pairs and the fours. I dare say Rory will be snapped up pretty soon in the premiership.

When interviewed on Thursday Rory said he wasn't in any rush for a prem place, it would have to be the right move and that the championship is much more fun!!

I think by the next time you're up we will have had more track time and you'll still go away with nothing!

Nothing against Rory but I hope Lewis Bridger, Richard Lawson, Richie Worrall etc get fixed up with premiership places before he does. .

Good to hear last night's meeting was saved by covers and was a good meeting.

Good luck to the witches in the next round.

Tend to agree with this.

Personally I would only have doubling up for British riders anyway if it has to be in place at all.
