Gavan
Yep they do. And many beat themselves when they come to Poole.. Like? Poole over the years has always been a fair track, its only the last few years that it has become a bit of a joke. Holder hates the track but bet your life he will go well around there. Poole when prepared properly is a good track. Sadly those days are few and far between

Gavan
Many riders who come to poole beat themselves before they even put foot on the track. Now dont you have an Ipswich thread to go to, because your like a stuck record on this thread... I mean that is your club, alledgedly.. And yet again you tell people to go back to their own thread! What is is with you and being the lord and master telling people what to do. Have been debating totally reasonably on here re the fact I THINK POOLE WILL BEAT BELLE VUE. Also been chatting normally with foreverblue about the Wolves and Poole tracks. You chirp up and start telling people what to do! You quite clearly got told on the Rye v Wolves threads about leaving the thread as that is what you tell people on Poole threads to do. Total hypocrite. Now if you dont mind i will continue my chat with the adults. Oh and please name names when you say riders beat themselves before they set foot on Pooles track. LisaColette
only one person started it thoughIt takes 2 to play. You can't blame Starman for Gavan responding!! Like? Poole when prepared properly is a good track. Sadly those days are few and far between Has Holder actually said he 'hated' the track, if so why did he want to ride for Poole this season??!! I know he said all UK tracks are crap but I thought he meant about how they prepare them.
Bleeds Pirate Blue
I'd suggest the reason Poole hammer so many teams when they travel to Wimborne Road is the fact we've had a team capable of winning the league most seasons for a good seven years, and top teams often easily dispatch weaker ones. Poole are also a ruthlessly run club - no quarter given - hence the numerous trophies! As Gavan implied, the track is fair with regards to its shape and size, however the criticism of its preparation is overblown by the Poole bashers to my mind. It's not perfect, and it can get dusty, especially for afternoon meetings, but more often than not it provides decent racing in my opinion.

LisaColette
you can blame Starman for starting it though ?Why though? It's a forum, people can post what they want. If you don't want Starman to go on and on, you just don't respond. Pretty basic stuff really! Gavan is just as bad sometimes.
WestGorton1884
I think a lack of track time will go against the Aces , especially at wimborne road The two young reserves could well struggle at first , but you've got to applaud the management for giving youth a chance , Poole to win by 6 to 8 points on Agg

SteveLyric2
Well it was BV that turned Poole over last May on a terrible track and that was the impetus that got the track well and truly sorted for the rest of last season - nice and smooth with hardly any bumps or holes! Track preparation on a meeting to meeting basis is a separate issue and can be very weather-dependant during the lead up to the day as well as on race day itself. I actually think that BV will win - just - on aggregate over the 2 legs. (Could be a battle of the rolling starts and who gets away with it most?!) :-)

HA is the master, how has he got away with it for so long? I think Brady Kurt had been taking lessons as well if his performance at the Peter Craven meeting is anything to go by. Cookie of course is a totally reformed character.
