Bagpuss
Very few teams do to be fair. For some reason it's a very difficult track for away riders to score points on.
BobC
Looks like Kerr will be missing on Friday as Scunthorpe are at Edinburgh.

Gavan
Brady Kurtz was flying at the NSS last night. As I said the track would suit him unlike Wolves or Rye. I expect Poole to win this over the 2 legs

hyderd
Brady Kurtz was flying at the NSS last night. As I said the track would suit him unlike Wolves or Rye. I expect Poole to win this over the 2 legs He was, however Todd wasn't, then in a pulsating heat 14 Ben Barker, who in his previous 3 heats had scored 2, outwitted both the Kurtz brothers and stormed round the track hugging the fence, similar to D King in the British final. Todd rode a great ride to beat his younger brother into 2nd place, just 1 of many fantastic heats. Rider of the night....................K Bjerre, never made the gate and was beaten only once, that was in his first heat. last out of the 2nd bend and only just pipped on the line by B Kurtz. What a meeting........................................again.

I mentioned about a week ago i thought Bjerre would love the big open spaces of the NSS,Guess on last nights performance that's correct so far.

I mentioned about a week ago i thought Bjerre would love the big open spaces of the NSS,Guess on last nights performance that's correct so far. I will admit to being one of the doubtful Bjerre fans, however I am more than happy to say on last night's showing he would of beaten Fast freddie, and he flies round the NSS. The fastest time last night was 60.0, set by M Zagar in heat 15, the slowest was 60.4 set by J Garrity in heat 18. 2 heats were 60.1. 7 heats were 60.2. 10 heats 60.3. didn't get the last heats time as like everyone else I was too busy cheering and clapping for the finalists and K Bjerre's win. Whilst on the subject of our track, I would like to add my thanks to C Morton and D Gordon, as without these 2 speedway fanatics the NSS would not be here, and quite possibly the Aces also.
Deltalima
As a Poole supporter its very early days for the team as a whole, I like what I see but there is plenty of room for improvement. I went to the pairs and in my opinion no one would have got near Holder and Lambert as they were flying. I expected more from Brady but I'm not going to berate him for that, he tried his best as did Jack but in all honesty the were never going to make the final. I enjoyed the meeting and am always impressed by the speedy running of the meetings at Somerset. It will be interesting against Belle Vue as both teams seem evenly matched, its way too early to talk of play offs etc let the riders get some time in racing and see where we are in a couple of months. SteveLyric2
Kyle Newman to receive a donation from the Poole Riders Equipment Fund before the BV meeting on Wednesday. The donation will then be enhanced by Hans and Nicolai (and maybe the rest of the team?!) each donating one point from their night's earnings to the donation. Great gesture and great team spirit already!!

Gavan
Haha good one! Careful with that anti-Poole post.... Finally someone with Speedway knowledge!! Lol As i said the Poole riders are more suited to the NSS then some of the smaller tracks, as proved by their poor showing at Wolves (and no Newman helped Poole as they got from 8 from his r/r rides) I would expect Poole to keep it very close in Manchester but win by more than 12 at home. Gavan
i think Newman is well capable of getting 8 at Wolves, he usually goes very well there. Maybe but his last 4 visits have been 14 (from 7 rides), 9 (7), 7 (4), and 3 (4) all from reserve so he would do well to get 8 from 4 from the main body. Kyle loves it a Wolves, he rides the track as it should be ridden.. Yes he attacks the track, maybe should pass some info to KK, Kurtz and Holder

Trouble with some riders is they have a mental block when it comes to some tracks.
Aces51
Wednesday will be our first meeting and our reserves are going to need more time to show their undoubted potential. I can see Poole winning by 10+ at home. It will be closer at the NSS, KK, Andersen and Kurt will do well there and it could suit Holder and Shanes. Klindt will no doubt pop out of the gate first in at least a couple of rides and could be good for a decent score. However, I think the Aces 1-5 will outscore their 1-5 and do enough for a home win. Overall it will be a shock if Poole don't win on aggregate. Later in the season it will be a different tale.
Gavan
Praise from Starman for a track outside Poole shocking! Trouble with some riders is they have a mental block when it comes to some tracks. They do for sure. True greats can ride all tracks and speedway isnt just about having fast big tracks. Watching Mark Loram fly round Bradford and then be majestic at Eastbourne shows true genius. Ward was the same at Lakeside
