Addy
I guess that beats a framed, personaliy signed, limited edition print of the great man ... This print you got Addy... is it the 'Millenium Man' print limited to 500 by Blair McKinley??? If so, I got one in a frame on my wall. He signed one to me and the missus and brought it over a couple of years ago. Wow mine is number 220 of 500 What number is yours?

I think this is when the photo of Ivan Mauger & Uncle Ted was taken, could it have been Young England v Australasia ( :?: ) not sure on the spelling there
whowasthatberntpersson
Its got to be Bruce Penhall, he retired at the very top and surely had so much more to offer. He gave speedway the publicity it so badly needed in the late seventies/early eighties. No rider has come anywhere near to gaining the publicity Bruce gave speedway. He was a legend in the Black Country. Tommy Jansson comes in a very close second, without the on track achievements, who know's what he could of achieved. duncrusadin
Kevin Hammond wrote He did a few match races but I can't remember who they were against, I think it was Bert Harkins and Dave Jessup, Kev. I've still got the prog at home with all their autographs on it so I'll dig it out next time I'm in the loft and check.

I can't remember Haggis being there though (but that means nothing )

Shortcrust
Has to be the one and only Terry Betts, Mr King's Lynn speedway. He was my first real memory of speedway and I spent many many meetings at Saddlebow watching my hero in action.
