Steve Shovlar
Sacked again, that must be the 4th or 5th time glyn has been sacked by Leicester. Why?
Gemini
Glyn wont confirm it, he was sacked again on Monday Yes I know. I assume the 4 legged variety are allowed in if you are going? Unless things have changed dogs are allowed. If they're not they won't see me there this season, with the exception of the Coventry match of course. mdmc82
Lasse guests for Auty, Klindt for King. I'd say we look a better team on paper than the Robins, but we will have no home track advantage as our riders won't have had much (if any) time out there at all. Also, Doyle is far and away the best rider on display, wouldn't be surprised if he comes out of this meeting with 15 points to his name. Hopefully Klindt carries on his good form of recent meetings back in Lions colours! I think Leicester look better than Swindon when both have full teams. However Leicester are ata big disadvantage having a 5pt reserve guest in place of a 9pt heatleader.
hagonshocker
Change the bloody date!Ridiculous isn't it?!I think Leicester look better than Swindon when both have full teams. However Leicester are ata big disadvantage having a 5pt reserve guest in place of a 9pt heatleader.Thing is though Klindt isn't like your typical 5 pointer....more often than not he would outscore King on that track depending what mood he is in

However Leicester are ata big disadvantage having a 5pt reserve guest in place of a 9pt heatleader. In fairness, thats a 5 pt reserve who averages 8+ at Leicester, and has had two huge scores in his first two meetings in England this year
hagonshocker
And in fact in reality it's more like a 6 pointer replacing a 7 plus rider and one that can gate like the clappers
Steve Shovlar
So the track is finished and raceable I take it? Has there been a practice on it?
hagonshocker
Leicester potentially look decent but it's still a gamble having Bates Auty and Ayres as the bottom 3 when your top 4 doesn't contain a consistently big hitter? Nilsson King are decent heatleaders Gomolski a good second string but would you bet your last new pound coin they would win away? Gemini
So the track is finished and raceable I take it? Has there been a practice on it? Who knows. Perhaps the promotion will confirm everything is okay tomorrow or BTFC LION will nip in again and let us know all the heavy machinery has gone. robert72
Why? There has been No comment from glyn or Leicester So the track is finished and raceable I take it? Has there been a practice on it? Leicester seem quiet about things at the moment.
beckettlion
I suppose we have to assume no news is good news
Grachan
It's really irritating, particularly as tomorrow's weather forecast is improving lately. If practice was called off then reassurances that the track is ok are imperative. Either that or cancel it in plenty of time!
CookieIpswich
Is it time to allow for guests to come from riders outside of the UK? Bored of seeing the same riders for different clubs I've said it before why the idiot they rebranded the sport without first getting the basics done is beyond me, the bspa have run this into the ground. 1. No doubling Up 2. Reduce costs for riders 3. Reduce costs for fans 4. Attract more fans 5. Kids or young adults 17 and under free across all speedway meeting cup and league excluding cup and play off finals 6. Track covers for all race tracks Only then would I rebrand the sport, now they've idioted themselves even more by having to stick with their decisions of the winter
SCB
In fairness, thats a 5 pt reserve who averages 8+ at Leicester, and has had two huge scores in his first two meetings in England this yearThe way I see it is Klindt and King average similar amounts last season. Ok one was a heatleader all season and one was a reserve for a bit but around at Leicester right now there's probably not a huge amount in it. orion
Just spoke to Dave Gordon and Chris Morton ...they tell me that the track if fine and buy your tickets in advance

Still can't work out why they didn't have Klindt guesting for Auty & R/R for King, would have made us stronger.

But R/R is always a little risky, if another rider gets injured you're really in trouble

Crazy robin
Just spoke to Dave Gordon and Chris Morton ...they tell me that the track if fine and buy your tickets in advance That was backed up by Matt Ford & Neil Middleditch😉😉
Big Al
It seemed a bit odd to me that after Glyn had been re-hired, the Track Curator position on the website list of club officials kept showing TBC whilst all of the others had names added, as and when appointments were made. His name never appeared.
