Speedway On Tv And The Internet In 2024

Recommended Posts

Good to see that Aussie Speedway is even more farcical than British Speedway... after a big delay before the start of the meeting to get the outside of the tapes working, they've stopped working again midway through the meeting and have just decided to go with one side of the tapes only working lol, just when you think you've seen it all... 😂🤣😂

Can anybody recommend a good IPTV provider?

I’ve just re-negotiated my Sky package to include TNT. This, for no  more than I was paying. Polite negotiation, saying that they took away important channels  and you have to pay to replace what you like on them. Price actually was less than I was paying. Speedway and Champions League. What’s not to like.

I'm going to give Virgin Media a call later this week to see if we can agree on something, I've got a year to go on my contact though, having said that I am getting TV, 400mb Broadband, Telephone & Sky Sports all for £60p/m... and I got £167 cash back, kerching 🤑

Still looking for an IPTV recommendation though just in case... anybody? DM me 🤞🙏

I did read somewhere that Virgin were giving free TNT Sports to some customers in contract as compensation for the loss of the Eurosport channels.

I tried two calls to Sky today and basically got nowhere. I told them I now can't get Eurosport or  the sport part on the Discovery+ app, and yet I'm still asked to pay the same monthly price.  All I got was lots of excuses, and one advisor even suggested I increase my package by another £15 a month! I'm amazed you got a result, as despite my sweet talking I got nowhere with them. Not sure what other no cost or low cost options I have to watch the GP's and League matches live this year? I do have BT Internet and Virgin Fibre outside my house, but I'm not sure if it would be any cheaper going with them than adding TNT Sport to my existing Sky package. I think the TNT sport is another £30 amonth, and I'm not paying that just for Speedway coverage.

The same for me - wouldn't do any deal for TNT or change anything else on my package to compensate so will be watching after the events for free and will actually be there in person for the SON final.

It maybe worth seeing where else the Speedway is covered and subscribing to that country's provider using a no fee credit card and a VPN.

Looking at the US it says MavTV... which possibly looks to be free, whether it actually covers all the Speedway live though is another matter.

Having been with Eurosport for a long time , I have now cancelled my Discovery subscription.

i am not paying TNT prices when all I want is Eurosport.

Hopefully they will still put Speedway on Quest on our tv sets.

I think you will find they are no longer showing the highlights on Quest, but have moved them to the DMax channel? Sadly that doesn't compensate me who used to get Discovery+ as part of my Sky package and now the alternative is to pay an extra £30 a month for TNT sport! Previously I could watch all the GP's, the League matches shown on Eurosport etc, now nothing!

It was actually a nickname I was given at work, but actually had nothing to do with money! Long story Iain.

However, I've just discovered that if you are a BT Internet customer (I am) then they are offering Discovery+ and all four TNT sports channels for £20 a month on a rolling 1 month contract, which means once the Speedway or GP season ends, I can cancel that add on from my BT package. Reluctantly I decided to subscribe, because it does cover Moto GP as well, which I enjoy, plus loads of extra sports. All the details are on BT's web site, but it is a special offer for BT Internet customers only. Still bloomin expensive, but I couldn't find any other option.

As I've said before, £30.99 pm over 6 months compares quite well to BSN per meeting and bear in mind the higher quality of Speedway and the extra sport you get. It's just we've had it too cheap while it's been on Eurosport & Discovery+

Did you phone up to get it, my BT account says £20 for 24 month contract
