szkocjasid
Belle Vue A very good top 5, wouldn't say they have an out and out no.1 but 5 riders who can all score solidly and push the big riders hard. Wouldn't say they have strong reserves to start with but will steadily improve as the season goes on. King's Lynn Good top two and I think Lambert will push Holder for no.1. Batchelor I'm not so sure about, this is the season for him to get back to form of old. They don't have the best second strings but they can still score solidly. Bailey should improve upon last season but Huckenbeck is key as he had two different halves of the season last campaign. Leicester Nilsson is a decent rider but not a no.1 imo. Gomolski is exciting but is very hot and cold, same goes for Auty and Ayers. Wolbert isn't a heat leader but is a decent second string in a weakened top tier. Lebedevs is on a bargain average and should go straight to a heat leader being replaced by a strong reserve but I can't see enough strength throughout the team. Poole Another good top two with Kasprzak and Andersen. However I personally don't think Poole are as strong as people think. I don't think they have a third heat leader but three strong second strings and a strong reserve. I know I may get slaughtered for that but I don't personally think Holder, Kurtz or Newman are strong enough for a third heat leader. They still look strong just not as strong as people think. Rye House Good top three with plenty of experience. Robson is good around Rye House, Watt is key as he has been on a bit of a downhill spiral. Branford has a big season ahead of him and will be the difference between a strong reserve partnership and a poor one. Somerset A lot of criticism of this side and there isn't a big hitter. What there is though is a very strong home side that with a bit of confidence could cause a shock or two. Jake Allen is one to watch. Swindon The best rider in the league in Doyle but can't see much after that. Morris had a bad season and Ellis has a lot to prove he is a heat leader. BWD will give his all but goes straight into the main body and Grondal isn't strong enough imo. Bellego is decent but only a second string. Wolverhampton Another strong top 5 Lingren is a big hitter and Masters and Thorssell can pop in big scores. Howarth should be a good second string along with Skornicki. The bottom end could be a problem as Clegg is up.and down and Greaves will find it very hard in the top tier. I think Belle Vue, King's Lynn, Poole and Wolverhampton look the top four, Rye House and Somerset are the best of the other four and will push for the play offs. Swindon and Leicester to me don't have enough strength throughout the team. Although nothing is done on paper so anything can happen. Think Lynn need Batchelor to get back to his old from to give them a top 4 chance, Klindt was a heat leader last year in a stronger league with tough HL races so he should be able to fill the 3rd heat leader role for Poole this year! hyderd
So who's actually said that ? Give him a chance yeh. He genuinely wants to ride for us. Matt wanted to sign him years ago. When Matt wants someone, he gets them. The fact it's taken until the league has gone very weak speaks for itself.
Robbobee
Just in terms of riders being replaced by others ... am I right in thinking that up until the first GSA changes ( ie : after 4 home and 4 away meetings ? ) any rider can be changed for another providing he has an average of not more than the rider being replaced or by bringing that rider in the team's total does not go beyond a total of 50.00? Following first set of GSA being released - team total not to be exceeded will be 42.00 ? If so I can see some riders being replaced very early on if they fail to 'hit the ground running' as they say ! Will be a race to sign the likes of Danny King and Josh Bates Cheers
