full-throttle
Could be a long season for Wolves with this reserve pairing. Â Â No longer than for us Coventry fans, Â Clegg looked OK when I went to PK's meeting, and for me Greaves has always been a little hit or miss

Seems to spend more time of the bike than on it. Has the wrong kind of attitude to learn as Rosco confirmed.
Steve Shovlar
Stuffing them out of sight. Wolves are complete pants. And I say this at the interval. Out fought, outgunned, no answer. Well done James Shanes, what a debut.. What a debut. And playing to the grandstand after his heats. Saw off Thorsell with some brilliant riding. A smoky bike though! Won't be long before a Championship club come knocking.
Perton Wolf
Early days in the season obviously but it's probably safe to say that Wolves' reserve pairing will struggle to beat any opposition riders away from home. Simply not good enough.
R87
Not particularly shocked by that scoreline. Don't see many away wins this season. Team is far too weak at reserve and Thorssell away from Monmore isn't as potent Edited March 29, 2017 by mb1990

Team is far too weak at reserve and Thorssell away from Monmore isn't as potentMasters is the same to a lesser extent too unfortunately. We only really have Freddie who is consistent both home and away so will be a challenge to get some away wins yes. We never fare well at Poole anyway but this scoreline is massive. Â Â Â Attempting to follow the meeting on Twitter......Did Klindt really just go off 15m and still beat Clegg? Bagpuss
Take a bow James Shanes! Great to see a young Brit doing so well, hopefully a few of the others in the top flight follow suit.
Phil The Ace
Shanes is a great rider. It's no surprise he's started well. Â But let's not fool ourselves here he won't do that again once he's back in the old race format. Â Wolves also have poor reserves. Â But even before tonight I expected him to be best no7

ouch
Cracking ride by pointless Greaves to beat maximum man Klindt who when on a 15m handicap failed to pass him. Â You cannot take your eyes off this! Lol.

Wackie
Fantastic debut from young Shanes, he may face a different race format in the league but that performance is going to boost his confidence going into the league meetings. Don't count this one as what is the qualification criteria.Wolves won the play-offs and Belle Vue topped the league.Thought it would have been those two contesting it.
